I have recently decided it's take to learn a new skill and I'm seeing that learning the Bo goes far beyond just technique but your frame of mind; which i love. I order my first Rattan Bo today and I'm ready to start my journey to mastery at 36 years old and am so looking forward to it. I'm more of a fundamentalist so Im all about Rattan BUT the Steel would be my choice to I assume build up my strength and for a much stronger blow hence a survival weapon (as long as its not raining 'slippery' lol). love your channel and Bo tutorials! -A new subscriber in Indonesia

Neither of these guys has any clue how to use a staff. For example when your strike gets blocked you don't just pull back and try another. You slid along the staff to smash the fingers, or you flow in quickly with the other end of the staff. Where are the vertical strikes, long range thrusts, etc?
