i love that dude is like “how toxic can i be with this” 💀 LMFAO this video was gold
I really hope they keep or rework the gushers on Eeltail. It made it 10x more playable.
Same for scorch it’s really nice on the grate, I think there should be another by the bottom right drop as well for a flank
05:27 When you realize that literally every single Splatoon 1 map had a gimick or a unique thing like this it really makes you appreciate that game way more.
I feel like if any map should have gushers as a gimmick long term, it should be Brinewater Springs. They would fit in thematically and also give a great solution to the one way death trap design.
Undertow, too. It’s based on a flood bypass, and there are a lot of good places to put it, too.
@@Kai_Ri_ big run
Leave it to DUDE to make up an even more fun challenge than the one presented to him.
This video has everything: Standard play, adaption, discovery, training arc, success, and achieving the pinnacle. Truly a hero's journey
I think they're moving in the right direction with unique map gimmicks! We got them on both maps this season; auto rising elevators and areas of the map underneath other areas!
Ok, but what if more stages got unique gimmicks in their reworks!.. like:
- Mincemeat Metalworks with shifting walls! (Sort of like ancho-v-games elevators, but pulling parts of the walls to reveal platforms on top!) Some new construction equipment was brought to clean up the site, but there's just too many metal cubes along the sides to handle! Well, it's a good thing the construction equipment is still operational and powered by splat swtches! (Wouldn't it be fun to morph the sides of the map with different mechanisms and climb along the mincemeat?)
- Hammerhead bridge with ride rails! Well, the bridge was already renovated, but the splatlands have become an all-time tourist destination. More people are coming across than ever, so some ride rails were commissioned above the existing layout for speed, efficiency, and really cool trick-shots! (This would be an interesting way to bring back the main upper-lower route identity of the stage without having to trudge along such a slow path!)
Brinewater Springs with soaker blocks. Ah... the relaxing sound of ink expanding and oozing... able to expand so freely... so therapeutic. If only that were so, because it would really help relieve my stress of BEING THE MAP WITH THE LEAST INKABLE WALLS, like seriously!? (I'm honestly surprised soaker blocks haven't been used in multiplayer yet.. They would be so awesome and brinewater make so much sense to have them!)
- Umami Ruins with graplelinks (I think that's they're called; I'm talking about those floating grapple hooks that pull you towards them when hit). As more discoveries are being made about the past of these ruins, the dig continues deeper, meaning the map literally has deeper terrain added along the perimeter via scaffolding. However, these new routes are situated far lower than the rest of the map, so graplinks were added for better safety, mobility, and ambushes between these dig sites!
Barnacle and Dime with bounce pads and ink wheels! Apparently, a recent survey reports that 90% of shoppers had more pleasure with their shopping experience when sampling bounce pads and ink wheels.. So these gimmicks were added to the main stage! (The wheels would probably make most sense to be scattered around spawn at the start of match, letting teams get their specials fast! For the fun of it, maybe 1 or 2 of these would repawn for the rest of the match, helping guard against spawn camping. Meanwhile, bounce pads could be scattered throughout mid and open up access to that extra terrain added during tricolor :) Idk, for being one of the most basic and bland maps ever added to the game, these would be great to shake things up!
- Eeltail Alley with oncoming traffic, (using those car models from the splatoon 2 single-player and octo expansion). I mean, come on, what were they thinking blockading the intersection like that. That's not gonna stop traffic forever! Cars could be added as new terrain being either stationary or moving back and forth along a set path, sort of like those trucks from port mackerel! (This would also be an excuse to widen the map revealing more of the traffic intersection like the tricolor layout did :)
- And finally, Undertow Spillway could add gushers... I mean, doesn't that just speak for itself?!
Throw bombs at the gusher for a free insta kill
The gushers to the left and right of mid in Scorch really stood out to me. They offer a quick way up to the grates, let you skip the grates entirely and jump to the enemy side or mid’s platform, or block the enemy’s way into your own base.
That spot on scorch gorge explains what Splatoon 1 felt like. It was so experimental and prioritized fun! The maps are so boring now.
6:45 I was the hydra that got splatted. Either the wiper or the sploosh had left beacons up there for us to jump to.
6:35 the gusher under the grates allows you to make a jump to their base without having to walk the grates. I wish that they would put them in the trenches of scorch but hey I still had fun.
Now they need to add the other gimmicks from shifty stations from Splatoon 2 and we’ll be set fr
I’ve never seen anybody more cracked on splatterscope.
so cool that Dysprosium Deuterium Einsteinium uploaded dudetatic video!
that’s so silly that you can get up there into that basket
I really like the jums you can make when the gush goes up
I need this challenge to come again soon, now I want to make it into that thing on Scorch Gorge too lol
I think something cool for scorch gorge would be having one of the salmon run cannons in the middle of the made during half time. I don’t think that it would be too overpowered because of how vulnerable you are in the middle of the map.
Half time? Do you mean the last minute or like overtime or something?
@@Pearlina_DV I was talking about turf war and spaltzones specifically. Idk if it would work on other modes.
I wonder if the gushers can kill 🤔
they can, i purposely died to one lol
gushers seem actually interesting map design wise, you can go from cover to a much higher position real fast.
OMG THIS CHALLENGE REMINDS OF SHIFTY STATIONS
This video was AMAZING. Seeing you get into the opponents basket seriously made my day 😂
Oh my gush this looks cool
I always forget to play the challenges and then you post and it reminds me 😂 thanks dude
this challenge was so fun for me idk why
11:57 Out of Context be like:
Nah I was like omd I’m playing with DUDE (I was dapplepro10 in vid) i gotta start sweating so I can get a win for dude but the whole time he was just trying to get in that tower in scorch😂😭
Honestly, the gushers are really fun. It makes me want more story mode mechanics online, like dash panels, grapplinks, rollonium, soaker blocks, and the cannons (well...maybe not those)
Yet another challenge missed due to timing, your vids are currently the only way I get to see this stuff lol. This all just makes me wanna play more shifty station stages.
It ain’t Splatoon 3 without making charger OP
They should’ve added gushers to undertow, it fits that map so well
Get a bunch of inksaver gear and put it on and go up there with like the ink refill going faster 😭
during this challenge i was stacking tons in ink regen and i was using weapons like snipe writer 5b and c jet to paint the enemies base from their cage, this feature carried the fun in this challenge
Oh My Gosh + gusher = Oh My Gush
I loved this!
GG DUDE!! I was the neo splosh
If only this Challenge wasn't tied to Turf War specifically. Imagine what something like this would be like in Rainmaker
This was honestly a fresh take on turf war.
I didn't even realize you could stand on them. I used them to launch me to places though.
I think they should have a challenge that is a TDM (team death match) style mode.
Since that is something I think people would enjoy!
I hope they keep these as private battle options 😭
Pretty decent idea for a challenge, but honestly I wish there more maps (and absolutely more gushers)
Sonic rush music 💙
Challenges need to be in Private Battles so we can to tricks like this scorch Gorge gusher trick
5:07 Bluefin shade(?)
LMAO...I've probably played like 4 total games of every challenge ever. The stupid time lock makes no sense.
This concept was bad until you found out about the dome then it was CONTENT 😂
Ha, like I love eeltail
Tried getting into the birdcage and just cant
kinda unrelated but what's the MT clan
What new is to me is, that the challenge time schedule has changed. 2 hours to play, then 2 hours break the whole day. Before you had only 3 times 2 hours over the day. Since when is that?
Hi
Meow.
Nya
Purr
This challange was quite underwhelming
Nah they put like 4 gushers on the stages. They didnt put them on any flank routes or anything. Trash challenge
I know right?? And they could’ve put them on not the most boring maps in the game. Brinewater gusher challlenge would go hard
Same😂
Watch the end of the video 😡😡😡
Diet Shifty Station lol
@@df63vu3f73k That statement implies that brinewater is an interesting map
Yeah this challenge was boring as hell
I want them to make a Dash Tracks challenge
