This season it has been go squirrel hunting see deer. Go deer hunting see squirrel. We are about 80% through the firearms season so I gave up yesterday and went squirrel hunting. Flushed out a whole heard of deer including a large buck. Went back today to get him, nothing but squirrels…😂
Jake - you do know a gunsmith can lighten up that trigger on your 30-06 for not a lot of money?!?!! I did that to my 30-06 years ago and it helped me tighten up my groups a bunch.
Come down and hunt Mahannah WMA in MS you will not be disappointed! Jan.1-10
Can we please get a THP Podcast shirt that says "it's situational..."
Ted bring it to oklahoma I can share some public.
During the summer I don't think about hunting much till I see a deer.
Warb I think your referring to the xop retrograde
I recommend the Eucerin cream for the itchy ass syndrome.
I love the thp podcast
I really like the things you all are doing, Nick is a great permanent addition to the group. I am not a fan of the way you all are approaching talking about the states you are hunting this year. I think you all are great ambassadors for public land hunting in various states, my home state Missouri included. But when you don’t talk about the state you are headed to people don’t know what’s out there to try. I wouldn’t have thought about ND or Nebraska but watching your content has it on my radar.
I wana see Zack talk to Andy may
You guys got me into hunting at 26 years old. I’m 30 now. But I had a series of bad knee surgeries and was getting in a bad headspace. I found y’all’s videos and could tell y’all were regular dudes doing something y’all love. It inspired me. Especially y’all’s ground hunts. I knew nothing and still don’t know much but y’all literally taught me how to hunt. I can’t thank y’all enough for that. My wife might have some questions though Lmao. I hope y’all never change and keep the videos coming for as long as y’all are able. Thank y’all for what y’all do… It’s also cool to hear you enjoyed the Arkansas hunt. I am in Northeast Arkansas myself. Hope to see some episodes here again this year! Best of luck to y’all this season.
Keep on hunting buddy every hunt is a new memory no matter the outcome!! It’s my therapy
Stop talking bro and go get that deer!
Didn't we watch this video a month ago??
Yes we posted a shorter version of it on the main channel.
My son pushes me with hunting, I was arange army till my 5 year old convinced me to start bow hunting at 37 years old, we started hunting beast style hunting and thp hunting since then. He started zeke outdoors when he was 5
Yea blame it on the boy that's what I do wife don't get mad at a 5 year old lol
@dennybirchfield my wife hunted with me before we had kids
What stand is Aaron using?
I was thinking the same thing.
Love you guys, any chance you have a Trad guy in the group? Public land hunting from the ground with a Trad bow would be 100% relatable
Believe Greg does it some. He came really close on a huge buck with it on the ground a few years ago before it busted him.

Zach... Cabelas Hunting Lounger worked great for me. Only like 30 bucks
My boy zeke is 7 and hunting deer this year in Wisconsin, we live in Minnesota. He hunted with me 2 years now and even woth a beast stand and me in a saddle. He going to start with crossbow and move up to his bow when he is ready
Am I mistaken or have I not heard this one before fellas?? I watch and rewatch so many of your vids and podcasts, but I am experiencing
De ja vu?! Can’t wait for the season to get underway!!
Thank You, I was like I can predict nearly word for word each interview! Still sitting here listening!🤣🤦♂️🤷♂️🦌
I started using a Beast stand as a saddle platform last season. I don’t regret it at all. It’s nice having the extra room and the seat.
I do the same, when my son comes with he sits on the stand and me the saddle, when just me ibhave the saddle and the beast stand
If you boys put on another Tennessee bloodbath, I'm gonna make a trip in 2024.
Good luck to u all this fall .. let's hunt!!
Not sure if warb will see this but I've been thinking abt using a small lock on in similar fashion for awhile. One thing I want to play with is fashioning a system with the seat cushion to quietly be able to flip around to the underside of the seat. So if you are sitting on it like a traditional lock on you have the cushion under your butt. Then if you stand and face the tree like a saddle you flip the seat up and move the cushion to the underside which now can act as a knee cushion
XOP treestands have this system
The 'Directors View' is what the guy would have used to get the video of the deer and a shot of him also in a little box on the screen. It's available on Android- not sure about iPhone.😏
Warb's accent is always super hard early season. All good!!!
Nick, Zach.....itchy ass disease? Monkey butt...lol...pack Boudreaus Butt Paste. Guaranteed. As for drawers, get you some dry fit compression shorts. You can rinse those out with dead down wind liquid wash every night and let dry the next day and if you pack 2 pair for a 10 day trip (0/10, not recommended) alternate...
Zach I wanted to let you know I've been filming my own hunts with my phone for over 10 years. The new Samsung phones have a selection in camera called directors view. In this setting one can record video in 4k from all cameras on the phone simultaneously. It sure gives options for more angles during self filming. Love your content and I have even tried some of your tactics, with success! Love you all!
Have you guys looked into Maryland nonresident tags?
Really Enjoy the content you guys are putting out. I love to see the comradery between everyone. You are trully blessed to have that so many of us do not. Watching you guys celebrate the wins and agonize the defeats together. I wish i had a group of people to share experiences with. Keep up the great work and never forget how blessed you all are.
U said u want to spend a few weeks scouting big woods. The problem with that is u can't scout that long and wait because deer in big woods are in one spot for 7 to 10 days then they move. Your window is small and needs to be hunted almost immediately upon finding sign. Also jeff Sturgis gives away all the best ways to hunt the big woods timber and hills. 💯 hope to see ya get several deer this year fam
To get rid of odor smelling clothes use the powder oxi clean with the purple lid. Its meant to get rid of odor and sweat smell clothes. Use it for all my gym stuff. 💯🔥 product
I really want to see yalls tactics in a state like New Jersey, it's very populated everywhere but there are some monster deer everywhere as well. Its's definitely a different kind of challenge hunting public here. Good luck this year guys!!!
Id love to see aaron make a smart play on that big 9 from last year
Jake will know the cost of Weatherby ammo here soon lol. Great content fellas!
Ha, Ted sitting in front of the decoy is hilarious. The decoys horns are perfect coming out from Ted's head.😂😂
Get r done boys! Thank you so much for all the strategies and help thru the videos!
Retrograde or Cold World?
Why not use a beast stand ?
You all have a great and safe season
Is this a repost?
Sure is! Said to myself, man I know exactly what each of these guys is going to say! Mind reader status!🤣🤷♂️🤦♂️
This is the full length version. We posted a condensed version to the main channel earlier this summer. We cover a lot more than what was posted in that video.
