Going through all your videos for a 2nd time. These trade break downs are really informative! Please keep them coming! Thank you sir
That's great. I'm glad they are useful to you!
I'm so happy to see there's someone else who was also struggling to trade these long after the market open. I've only had any success buying during the pre-market. Recently I've noticed most of the top traders never long these after the market open. This should help me with my consistency a lot. Awesome recap by the way, I've never seen anything that detailed all for free.
Great. Hope it helps
This is really good. You explained everything we need to hear. Keep it up John!

This is honestly one of the best recaps I've ever seen. Thanks so much! Also, I love how much easier it is to see the trend with the 3min candles. I'm gonna give it a try tomorrow morning.

Hi John
Pls can you do favour for me
I would like to know when should we buy reverse stock split ?
Before the day of split when price is too low ? Or on the day of reverse split ??
I am beginner and thanks for helping me John

@@SublimeTrades pffft who is this guy? Why am I subbed to this? haha
thanks John, great vid
Thank you
great video video, i have 2 q:
1. why you use 3 min chart?
2.regarding YUMA(starting from 15:47) , why you decide to enter on the first entry because i see very low volume ?
3 minute charts have less random noise than 1 minute charts. And I’m pretty sure I explained my reasons for taking the trade in the video.
@@SublimeTrades thank you, , i review it again and it is more clear now :)
great video, thank you for this content/information!!
You’re welcome
Great strategy. It looks very similar to breakout but you linked with the split. A question about the top price, besides you mentined in the video, do you use any technical indicator to make the decision to sell ?
No, on my long trades I usually just try to sell into strength as the stock is making new highs but I don’t have any indicators to help with the decision other than price and volume.
This is my new favorite channel. Question: When/how does one actually go about buying the stock for the low price after the reverse split? In testing this out, I tried to buy AHT in premarket on July 16 because the reverse split was scheduled for after market close on July 15. But both Robinhood and WeBull showed AHT as ‘temporarily’ unavailable/unsupported. Today, same thing happened with SCYX; The reverse split initiated today July 17, so I set an alarm for 3am CST, but when I tried to buy shares at that time, the stock was unavailable. Magically, this morning SCYX became available again, but was already at the split-adjusted higher price. I can’t win lol
That’s not at all the way to approach the strategy. And you don’t want to buy before the reverse split because they generally go down 30% - 65% in the first few days after the split.
Thanks for the reply. I should have clarified: I do actually understand the part about waiting a few days for a news catalyst before entering, if at all. I just wanted to go thru the process anyway using a ‘test’ R/S stock to see exactly what all is entailed, if that makes sense. My question was more about what I felt were technological barriers preventing me from buying in premarket, in the wee hours of the morning (after the reverse split has already occurred). I thought I saw you do that in another video
Good video bro. What type of order did you use for buying and selling in Pre- Market?
I used limit orders and some were on the bids, while others were on the offer.
Hi John let me ask something ..how can I identify the right side of the trade..
That’s a very broad question.
Hi john on the open once it began to drop, before knowing the outcome of the stock for the day, would that be considered a dip pattern given the fact the stock went up so much Premarket and began to drop at the open. Or would that be considered morning panic from bag holders over the weekend hoping for it to drop due to news and reacted to premarket spike.
Thanks, hopefully didn’t confuse you with my question.
the best dip buys are usually on morning panics, but when I was playing those, I was focused on OTCs. I don't know how well that pattern would translate into listed stocks.
Ok thank you,
Thank you John..this is a very good and clear explanation..did you follow $YUMA the days before already?
Yes I was watching it leading up to this day
when your are seeing reverse split sometimes stocks usually just go sideways for long time and they drop, if you want to trade reverse split stock do you look for catalyst too??
Watch my video on finding an edge with spreadsheets for the answer to that question.
@@SublimeTrades thanks 2 videos to go for that one..! YUMA explaining very well thankx
I have a question... I'm a beginner with a small account,, is it a good idea to buy a penny stocks under 1 $ that announces reverse split to avoid their delisting and wait for a pop up ?
No you don’t want to buy them before the split and hold through the split.
Thanks for advice
Good luck
Your videos are much better than Tim Skyes', all he talks about is how much his students make and never talk about the important stuff
Thanks
lol love this dude but had to play on X2 speed and still tried to go faster
Lol it’s all good. The videos are long and I tend to talk pretty slow.
