    Hey Ryan, just wanted to let you know how much I appreciate all your videos! I’m 18 but I grew up on all the Grunge Music bc of my Dad.. AIC, Pearl Jam, Soundgarden, TOTD etc.. I don’t own a guitar currently, but I love your videos so much I’m seriously considering investing in one. Best on RUclips, keep it up!!

      buy one and don't look back. youtube is a goldmine for musicians. We didn't have this luxury in the 1980's

      I on the other hand was invited, but couldn't wrap my brain around calling off work to give myself the opportunity to go. Curse of the small business owner. I don't remember who i taught that night, but i do remember that I didn't go to that show.

      Ryan Lendt I hate the person you taught that night for your sake.

    • @RyanLendt

      re-direct the hate... i'd have been able to call off if all the other teachers would have been equal contributors to the business. Alas everything always fell on me to make sure the lights stayed on.

      which is one of the reasons I ditched it and moved to PA so we could jam :) So like most things it kinda evens out

    Such a good song, thanks for chopping the mountain down and turning into a succession of medium-sized hills! Looking forward to the rest of the week. I eagerly await the recommendations of Stone's earlier years.

      @RyanLendt  5 лет назад +1

      Yes the only uncertainty was whether the G string was F# or A, I heard major thirds in the slide chords, which means it's F#. Love it when a plan comes together :)

      @@RyanLendt Now I'm tempted to play it in DADAAD just so I can combine it with Let the Records Play for an ultimate Stone Gossard jam :)

    Such a great song and pretty much how I play it. Although I'll have to listen more closely to the chorus as I like to slide it up to the 12th to break up the chords but not sure if Stone plays it like that our it's just my own take on it. Jeff's bass is killer on here too. Great to see you cover it!

    • @RyanLendt
      @RyanLendt  5 лет назад

      I gave that some serious thought, and came to the conclusion that one guitar is going up while the other is going down, hence my ears couldn't make sense of it, 1990 stone is definitely going up twice, 2016 stone is definitely lazily going up two frets and then down two frets. so, i take that to mean whatever is good :)

    Ryan! This is great! Thank you for this. CC is my boi, love him to death (no pun intended). Forever and a day I've been trying to assemble TOD songs to do acoustic or sans-band, of the album top to bottom. Question: Do you think Pushing Forward Back is doable?
    Thank you for all your vidz.

    Stone song Jeff hat - love it. MLB tomorrow right, don't know if you're taking suggestions for it but if you are it's got to be "Bone China" seeing as you've already done "This is Shangrila"....
