This is the LAST CHANCE to Complete the Process...

  • As you know, the Philadelphia 76ers fell to the New York Knicks in the first round of the 2024 NBA Playoffs due to insane play from Jalen Brunson, Josh Hart, OG Anunoby, Isaiah Hartenstein, and others. Joel Embiid missed most of the year with injury, but did play at a unanimous MVP level when healthy, Tyrese Maxey turned into an All Star level player, and Nick Nurse coached an all around great season. It was both a very disappointing but also promising year for the Sixers, and now they have reached a crossroads. Heading into the offseason, Philadelphia has a ton of cap space to pursue someone like Paul George, Jimmy Butler, Brandon Ingram, or others to be a third star along with Maxey and Embiid. They'll also have money to add high level role players and pretty much reshape the entire roster. If there was ever a chance to complete the process, it's right now. If they fail, they may lose Joel Embiid and have to again start from scratch. So, let's talk about it.

What happened with Kuminga will keep happening because Embiid deserves it. Ingram and Mikal would be excellent fits next to Embiid - Maxey in Philly

  • @urbaindelva7869
    @urbaindelva7869 15 дней назад +1

    They need to replace Tobias Harris with a RELIABLE scoring wing. Oubre can only do that sometimes. They also need to shore up the bench, especially with a viable backup center. Finding a floor general would be good for them. Maxey has taken strides in that regard, but he is still more of a scorer. More size in the frontcourt with Embiid would also be beneficial.
    Honestly, I don't think it matters how they retool the roster. Embiid's health and his reduction in production in the playoffs (barring this year) are routinely big issues for them, and they're not gonna go away any time soon. They might decide to hit the reset button at the deadline.

    Would love to hear you discuss the Raptors’ future. It seems like a just run it back and develop for now but there’s the Bruce Brown situation. Is he going to get traded, finishing the Siakam trade so we can finally see if it was worth it? Are we just gonna let him walk to clear cap space for our upcoming extensions? Is Jakob Poeltl going to get traded since his time in Toronto hasn’t been great so far? I really don’t understand how this team managed to fumble everything so hard trying to cling onto our 2019 team. The players we’ve been offered or could’ve gotten in the past by trading guys earlier is insane. Kyle, Pascal, Fred, and OG all had good offers in the past. Worse yet, we’ve given up first round picks that could’ve become valuable players trying to cling to something that was already over in the Thaddeus Young and Jakob Poeltl trades. I know the off-season won’t be as interesting as the 76ers, Lakers, Warriors, Pelicans, Cavs, or Hawks, but surely there’s something that’ll happen.
