I suggest not to use the terms "residence permit / visa" as if they where synonyms. They might be in some parts of the world but aren't in the Finnish context. They both are permits for entering and staying in Finland, but with very different characteristics. They are permits for different purposes and situations. Applications are also handled by different processes by different governmental authorities. Visa is a permit to visit Finland for no more than 90 days. For anything more than just visiting residence permit is the required permit.

Did you mean that you aren't a member in any trade union and therefore there is no membership fee. If that is the case, I suggest you to reconsider the benefits of being a member.

Some other agencies in the Ph have membership fee before they can be able to assist an application to study or work abroad.
