    Lovely project! As a beginner, I can probably do it but some places were a bit too fast to figure out which cords you are using & where they go especially on the hoop even when I rewind the video. YOU did a great job but I am a beginner & it looks a bit difficult & confusing at times. Please keep this in mind on future videos for us newbies. Thanks.

      Slow down video. Click on 3 dots upper right corner, choose playback speed, slow it down.

      Her hands are constantly in the way so it's hard to tell what she's doing. I'm stuck on the double half hitch knot part that's is right after you form the hanging loop. :(

    I love the fact that you posted this video to share this pattern with us! Thank you!
    However... as soon as I got to the double half hitch knots I quickly became confused by which string you were using for each knot. It was VERY hard to follow because your hands were in the way and you didn't indicate very well when you were adding in a new string. I made 4 groups of six strings, but I struggled to get any further than that.

    So 3mm is not big enough to fill the hoop in the same way as this video I have space for at least another 6 strings, two per space added to the ring.just for those who are still looking to recreate this beautiful piece, 4mm would be better but again depends on how tightly wind the 3mm is, I have found there are varying thicknesses to 3mm.

    This is My 1st time trying this macrame. Is ropes and cord used as the same word? I have paused and watched and paused. Can I use metal rings instead of wood?

      @KyrresG 3 года назад +2

      Take 1 cord from each section and tie a simple knot like the first part of tying shoe laces so it’s easy to undo, this will hold the ring while you do the other knots and just undo and knot properly as you reach each holding knot

      I was, too... especially the bigger one. If you have a Michael's or Joann's in your area, they have the larger ones. Otherwise, Etsy was the only other place I could find them. Hope that helps. 🙂

    You seriously need 110 meters or in my case inches which works out to 4330.7 inches. Really!!?? I found the 3mm cord but the longest roll i can find is 400ft. Can someone help me out with the correct measurements? In inches

    Your hands are constantly in the way so I can't even see how you're tying your knots. I'm trying to do the half double hitch knot part after the loop is formed at the top but even at 1/4 the speed I can't tell because of your hands. Please show your work more clearly! :(
