I attached my hoop at about 75 cm from wooden stick, then I created a sort of star at the bottom adding 6 more cords, one for each section I had divided according to the tutorial, same length as what I have left after tying everything together I’m left with a 25cm cords after cutting them to down so they all the same length. I want to say I cut to where I was left with the shortest cord. It’s been a while. Not including the hanging cord use to hang it with. Hope this helps.

How long are the pieces of cord that you add at 22minutes in? (just before you do the square knots.) Also the pieces that you wind round the ring? I've gotten to that point in the making it and am super happy with the results so far :)
