Guide Through the Leyndell City Catacombs To Get To The "Three Fingers" - Elden Ring Guide

- In this video, I'm going to guide you through the Leyndell Catacombs underneath the Royal Capital. This path will take you to the "Three Fingers", which will change your game ending (I haven't beaten the game once yet so I don't know the full implications of this). I'll also show you where to find the important site of graces along the way.
On a side note...this new area under the city is HUGE. I've cut out hours of video. I would strongly recommend exploring this area on your own. There are lots of secrets that I didn't show here or mention here. There's even ANOTHER area hidden here which I don't want to spoil because it was an OMG moment for me when I discovered it and I don't want to spoil the suprise.

This parkour part has made me realize every other game company in existence has done jumping mechanics better
Everytime I die from fall damage it reminds me why fromsoftware doesn’t make platformers
I also loved how he added him dying multiple times to show how difficult it was

@@VictorKDurand after dying repeatedly the 1st time going down, it's no hassle. Takes roughly 2 deaths before I make it down
@@VictorKDurand plus after beating the game and realizing you only need to beat 4 bosses for to beat the game is crazy
I thought I was slick once thinking I escaped an enemy by using a ladder. Not only did the enemy follow me down the ladder, but it started kicking me once they caught up...

You can "run" while climbing so they'll never catch up, but you probably finished the game already so...
This jumping quest was the real hardest boss in this game

literally the only critique i have for this game is if they’re gonna add so much parkour stuff they should’ve added some sort of ledge grab mechanic. i’m tired of rubbing my face against 10 ledges on my way to my death

they'll save that for Elden Ring 2. then in 3, they'll add some sort of mechanic that makes jumping from great heights easier, like some sort of glider.

There’s a secret wall which gives you passage to the Deeproots depths, at the grace room once at the bottom, doesn’t stop there

@@MrGwandrinSo basically there are multiple areas that are hidden/hardly reachable unless you spend hundreds of hours in the game you will never find all and all of them are content filled. I only know cause after a few hours of gameplay i realised almost every distant area is accesible the only question is how
Could’ve just taken my armor off to get to the Three-fingers, but NOOOO. I continued ahead and ended up in the Deep-roots… meaning I have to do the jumping maze again. 😑

@@thighhighenthusiastic1268 there is, just gotta go back now that the depths are cleared (mostly). After running through Lies of P to finish achievements (didn’t really play Souls-likes until then), I’m realizing how well hidden and expansive some of the areas are in Elden Ring.
Wow 250 hours into this game and never knew this was here, I went all over those tunnels too 😂 this is why I love Fromsoft

You have to beat Morgott first I guess. I beat Mogh the Omen, opened the secret wall behind the chest and then there was a glowing wall that said "Sealed by Morgott the Grace-Given".
I guess I'll come back after Morgott to do the rest of it. (not looking forward to the drop-puzzle, lol.)
Oh I didnt know that. I legit died for 2 hours straight...annoying.
Damn, i was just like you, jump puzzle was crazy, think i died more in there then all the time previously 😅
Lucky you. Morgot is easier than the Omen in my opinion
@@jasoncoleman32 The Omen is no joke. This mini boss is harder for me than the Fire Giant was.
@@TJAlcaraz seriously though. The small spacing and constant destruction on the pillars just makes it tougher
This area is crazy huge. I've been down there, found the catacombs (not in this video at all) and beat the boss, and almost all of this was completely new to me. It's every bit as big as the city above.
This is totally bonkers and I'd never had got there without a guide :D

My rule of thumb is if I have to do any Hero Grave or a puzzle like this one be sure to not have alot of runes on you or grind up and spend them. Even using the twig amulet sounds like a waste because you will die far more times than you have of these things in your equipment.
I don't know how long it took me to do this stupid jump puzzle.
@@Zhuster One vid helped me with a guy finding a coffin to stand at(the one directly under the playing merchant), turn around and push a dodge button to flee fall into another safe spot. It took a couple of tries thanks to that I got there relatively easily.

Yes when I have no souls it's very freeing and always explore that way
@@MikeTheDYup. Less stress and ironically it may also make you die far less if you aren't as stressed while doing the location. Confidence is a hell of a drug.
Thank you souch for that tutorial. I searched for so long for that path that seems to be placed randomly in a way that only devs know where it is. It truly made me insane

Hey at 2:14, they can't follow you through the door. If you want to cheese all three of them, you can rot or poison them safely from the other side. Just have to duck out of the way of the AoE. If they lose interest, duck back into the room and back out real quick once they aggro again.
i swear to fucking god the parkour in this game is do janky in going to bash my head into my monitor

@@Abc123______ bro souls games aren't designed for parkour the parkour mechanics are bad, the game is peak and everything that matters is right but tell me why I get clipped onto a microscopic ledge and when I jump I fly at rocket speed off the platform
@@christiansargent6053 yea the jumps have to be extremely calculated it took me about 15 minutes lmao there’s a set of stairs you can go down to make it slightly easier but then you have to start jumping
OMG!!! I have been trying to do this for days with a broken controller that creeps. I made it! Your route was way better than others I watched showing rolls and twitchy falls. Thumbs UP!!!

Fun fact you throw a glowstone or rainbow stone it will just phase thru it so I had assumed that the floor was nothing but a death drop and assumed the fingers were elsewhere and left without finding it 😃

The damage his health and armor allow him to tank looks like a middle finger to my glass canon build, it’s funny watching him go through all of it no sweat while I’m dying at every turn just to get an inch of progress. Good video all the same

2 years later I'm still using this walkthrough
Keep in mind for new comers you can still do rannis quest as long as you completed it think and still get multiple endings once you defeated the elden beast you just have to look for the specific sign on the floor, make sure to back up your save once you defeat elden beast, and don’t touch any signs on the ground and you can get the main ending, plus rannis, and this one

All I can imagine is opening the doors to the three fingers and just seeing every boss in the game laughing at me for making me think I had to walk in naked.
Use the hand of malenia katana for the parkour saved so much time XD
the parkour is so maddening i had to look up a guide to make sure it was actually at the bottom

fun fact! you can stand by those covered tents and wait for the blue ring to activate, on return to your world if youre stand right beside the tent it gets destroyed!
I forgot who the npc was when it said to me to search for three fingers beneath the capital. And Melina keeps talking to me at the site of grace to let her burn the tree but i guess I got to search for the three finger since it brings a diff. Story

How does the game run so smooth for you? I have a mid-high tier pc and my frame cap is at 60 how does it look like you have 120+
I got lucky and finished the jumping part on the second try. I wouldn't actually call it jumping but falling with style.
Tryna jump down all these ledges just to get to the final part is harder then getting down to the sewer and the boss fight combined. It’s terrible.

What's ridiculous is after you jump down from a low hight and the thing crumbles if you jump off from the top u live still lol
tip for who's trying the parkour, click esc to open the menu, hold the running key, then click Q to esc the menu, tadaaa you have now immediate run for long jumps without space to move
this maze is truly one of the hardest bosses in the game
