I am sitting in one of their rooms as I type this. I came online to see if anyone else was regretting their decision as much as me. Non stop free drinks doesn't mean anything if the alcohol is watered down to the point where it is impossible to get buzzed. We normally drink mixed drinks but after 8 or 9 of them, we were feeling bloated and not the least bit tipsy. We are not hard drinkers. Usually a bottle of wine (two glasses each) is enough to get us there. We figured they were a bit light on the pour... so we just started drinking shots. Nope. Five, six, seven shots of tequila later.. still not tipsy. That's when we realized the bottles themselves were watered down. We called room service to see if we could just buy an upopened bottle of tequila. You sure can ... for $150USD. For Jose Cuervo. And that's not to mention the musty smell in all of the rooms (we are here for a wedding and have been in half a dozen rooms so far.) or the fact that the walls are paper thin and we can hear the conversations of the other guests. This place is a rip off and it's near impossible to leave because it's tucked so far out of the way. PLEASE do not waste your time or money...

Unfortunately some guests will have a bad experience or receive poor service. This can happen to people at any resort. If you read enough reviews, you’re guaranteed to read some that were not satisfied about ANY resort. I would say the Excellence Collection of resorts (Excellence, Finest & Beloved) has the fewest complaints & the most positive experiences of any resort family in the Caribbean. However, read enough reviews & you’ll find some people that aren’t happy with the service!
Great video. I have two questions: 1) with family two kids, is it worth for preferred club upgrade? Especially getting access to lazy river. 2) is there pier or area where you can bring your fishing rod and fish without swimmers around?
Preferred club upgrade is a tough one. If you think you'd use the preferred club lounge for drinks, snacks, etc. and need to use the Bali beds...Maybe. You do get a Hydrotherapy session included over at the Secrets spa for Preferred guests. Ultimately it's an individual decision if it's worth it or not. I would say if the price upgrade isn't significant...Do It! If it's a considerable cost increase, nope!
We went in march 2021 and none of the water park stuff was even there so i think they took all that stuff but since it was my family and our friends and we are both teens it was still fun

We have celiacs in our family and wanted to know if the food and restaurants there accommodate Gluten free allergies and options as many resorts do?

Preferred Club can be added for an additional cost at check in IF they have rooms available. If it’s a minor cost increase & you think you’d benefit…do it! If it’s a major cost to upgrade…don’t do it! You honestly won’t miss much. 2. Every restaurant asks about food allergies before they seat you so they can help guide food choice. Download the Hyatt Inclusive Collection app now & you can start checking out every menu from every restaurant to plan ahead!
That’s awesome. There were several weddings while we were there. It’s an absolutely beautiful resort that offers so much for all ages. You will love it!
Yes, absolutely. The beach is beautiful & the water is usually crystal clear. There are some times during summer & fall or after a heavy storm that the seaweed may wash ashore. The resort does an amazing job at constantly working to keep the beach clean
Absolutely. Both ages will have so much fun. This video didn’t cover the kids club, but that is also a really fun area for kids & can give the adults a little “me” time! The resort is beautiful and offers so much for all ages
Right now during COVID and limited capacity it’s a hard call. If you prefer top shelf alcohol, the preferred club bar is a great place to grab a drink & small bit of food. Also, the Bali beds are reserved for preferred club guests. The lazy river is supposed to be exclusive as well, but during our stay in November 2020 it was never checked. We were preferred club during our stay, only used the preferred club bar once during our stay. It’s a tough call. If It’s a significant additional premium for preferred club it would be a hard sell in our opinion.

@@taylorcunha7250 They randomly will go around asking room numbers to verify who is preferred or not. You don’t wear wrist bands at Dreams.
