- This is a full, walking tour of the gorgeous Adult Only, All Inclusive Secrets Playa Mujeres resort in the Playa Mujeres region located north of Cancun, Mexico. We were there in November, 2020 and I found this resort to have amazing staff, amenities, and food.

Do they have live music after dinner, evenings Latin or rock? Do they have late night DJ? was the night club fun? Or is there a good resort that has this for a group of middle aged gals who like to party on the resort?
Visiting this January. Does anyone know if you stay at secretes do you have access to the water park and water slides at dreams??
Is there bathroom close by beach?
Hi how are the drinks and food any lobster.what beers they have in the resort.
The drinks and food are fabulous! In particular I loved the French and Italian restaurant. I did not see lobster on any of the menus, and in my experience if there is lobster it is an up-charge. For beer I saw that they have Corona, Modelo, and Budweiser. I am not a beer drinker so there may have been more than that.

How were the mosquitoes with all that plant life how were the mosquitoes would you recommend to take spray with you
Just came back 2 weeks ago. No mosquito problems. Only complaint was the number of weddings held next to the main pool and right under some friends we traveled with rooms. Receptions went until 11pm with loud music and large crowds. Otherwise, nice experience
Playa Mujeres and the barrier island strip are mosquito free, as are the resorts in the hotel zone, which are also on a barrier island. You need to worry about mosquitos (and there will be plenty) once you are on the mainland, which in practice means Riviera Maya and south.
Is there a quiet pool

Almost went to one at the secrets akumal. Ran out of there quick.
Hi Colleen thanks for the wonderful review, we are going there in a few months, do you know anything about the golf? They said green fees for golf are included but what are the tee times he can go, is there only a certain time he can play, thank you so much😁
Just came back from this resort. Golf was free, but you must text a golf cart. We stayed @ on the Ocean suites and the cod was $80. We meet others in different room categories and they paid a higher fee. Course is great!

Hi Colleen, can we also go and dine in the restaurants at Dreams Playa mujeres?
Is the beach bar only for the preferred club? Also what about all of the bali beds on property?
The beach bar I show with the swings is for any guest. There was a separate area on the beach for Preferred Club with the covered cabanas and they had their own bar area serving them. There are some bali beds near the pool area that are for anyone and then a few, the ones that faced the ocean, that were specifically for the Ocean Front Preferred Club guests.
How do you get a reservation for Teppanyaki?
No bar stools at this resort or was that just a temporary overreaction to Covid?
Are the swim up bars currently open?
Yes, the swim up bars are open!
is the beach a white sand beach?
It is very soft and white. It was not the softest, whitest beach I have been on, but definitely very nice for the Cancun area.
