The black stone at Kaaba is held sacred and holy in Islam and is called "Hajre Aswad" from the Sanskrit word Sanghey Ashweta or Non-white stone. The Shiva Lingam is also called Sanghey Ashweta. So what is in Kaaba could be the same what Hindus worship. The pedestal Maqam-E-Ibrahim at the centre of the Kaaba is octagonal in shape. Just as in Hinduism, the custom of circumambulation by muslim pilgrims around the entire Kaaba building seven times shows that the claim that in Islam they don't worship stones is not true.
The King Vikramaditya inscription was found on a gold dish hung inside the Kaaba shrine in Mecca, proving beyond doubt that the Arabian Peninsula formed a part of his Indian Empire. (Ref: page 315 of a volume known as 'Sayar-ul-Okul' treasured in the Makhtab-e-Sultania library in Istanbul, Turkey). King Vikrama's preachers had succeeded in spreading the Vedic Hindu sacred scriptures in Arabia and Arabs were once followers of the Indian Vedic way of life. The annual fair known as OKAJ which used to be held every year around the Kaaba temple in Mecca and the present annual hajj of the Muslims to the Kaaba is of earlier pre-Islamic congregation. . Even to this day ancient Siva emblems can be seen. It is the Shankara (Siva) stone that Muslim pilgrims reverently touch and kiss in the Kaaba.

True to that association a sacred fount exists near the Kaaba. Its water is held sacred because it has been traditionally regarded as Ganga since pre-Islamic times (Zam-Zam water).

The Kaaba is just the direction of prayer. Before it was the Qiblah, it was Jerusalem. Why do we direct our faces towards the Kaaba? God himself says that all directions are correct. Because this is following the Messenger of God. It is by God’s command because He wants us to be one nation and not everyone does what they want.
The word "Ka'bah" in Arabic means Cube. It was first built by angels as the replica of "Baitul Mamoor" on the 7th heaven. Then built on the same foundation by Adam AS. At the time of the great flood during prophet Noah AS it got washed away but the foundation remains. Makka was a deserted area. Prophet Ibrahim AS rebuilt Kaabah and his son Ismail later settled in Makka. The Hajr-e- Aswad stone was White and brought by angel Jibrael from heaven to be fixed on the wall of kaabah over the time it turned black. The pagan Arabs over the time introduced various idols and kept outside the kaabah after transgressed from the true religion of Ibrahim AS- Monotheism. Muslims neither worship any stone nor any building. Kaabah is the centre place of direction called the Qibla to face at the time of offering prayers around the globe as a symbol of unity. Stones, mountains, planets, galaxies and everything else in the entire universe is created by Almighty Allah. Created things can't be any god. Its the first foundation of the faith to believe in One True Almighty who is the Creator, Sustainer and Planner Protector. If we go by our simple basic logic common sense we humans are biologically one species, our source & creator is one. There can't be many multiple gods??. Otherwise they would have been fighting like us. These days internet is flooded & stormed by useless irrelevant arguments and blame games to prove who is right or wrong but does it the purpose of life? How people dare to rebel against their Creator and deny His existence so easily? Muslims don't deny the Ka'aba predates Islam. We're 'Abrahamic faiths' for a reason. Quran teaches Prophet Abraham (AS) and his son Ishmael (AS) built the Ka'aba. The apprx date range is assumed to be between 9000 BCE - 7500 BCE.
