Hey all you riders, thanks for checking out the new video! Get ready for some crazy snowmobile videos this winter! It's going to be a good one! Can anyone diagnose the issue Travis is having with his snowmobile? Bad fuel pump? Kinked or clogged line? Let's see your thoughts below! :)
Jeremy Rhydes where in Arizona is Travis going???
I’m ready for some snowmobile adventures with all 3 of you tearing it up! Sorry not sure the diagnosis on that sled... just got my 1971 Yamaha Enticer running the other day finally with the 2 carbs jets clogged up with varnish. Spent 3 hours cleaning them up and now runs like a raped ape!!!
Jeremy Rhydes carbs need cleaned
If its EFI, it doesn't have carbs. It may need replaced bearings in the skid, that may be restricting the track from turning and making the sled work more than it should.
throw some new gas and plugs in it asap. then go from there. prolly just needs to be ran. dude get a windshield for your mxz lol. heading over to the site to buy my tshirt man! cheers
Despite what everyone thinks, you don’t need a new sled to have fun. A older sled and some snow works just as well
exactly!!! same goes for my quad!! 2003 :)
Haha I absolutely 100% agree! The same goes for just about any machine!
Just got a 09 but had a 99 but blew it up but that thing was great
Got an 1980 panther, so much fun!!
Agreed! I got some 1970s ski doos, an Elan and an Olympic, and I'm always excited to get a chance to drive them
Love snowmobiling season videos!
Still waiting on more snow here! but glad you got snow and are having fun!
Ya that sounds great! Love to see it❤
Snowmobiling is honsetly the best thing ever. The sounds😍
I agree untill you mention a 2 stroke 125 motocross bike..
@@Sparaco487they sound like an angry bee hive 4 stroke sound better despite being worse
Awesome brother! I wish it snowed more in my home state of Missouri so I could get a sled but I'll just keep watching your videos! Lol!
love travis's articat
Hey Jeremy, I love watching you guys ride and work on older sleds and have fun doing it!
If Travis's sled is EFI it might be a clogged injector or maybe old gas? also depends what was done to store sled at the end of last winter. Just my 2cents worth.
Keep the videos coming!
I don't miss those days! !! hopeing for snow in MD! !!!
Hey guys, hopefully you will continue with the snow, we got 8-10" here by Monday and by today we're lucky if we have 3 in spots! Damn rain!
Nice snowmobile video clip Jeremy
This is the best video ever the first sn snowmobile blog of the year just gonna send it Larry enticer
Love your videos, man. Especially the ones from the time you guys were in Newfoundland!
As soon as I saw snowmobile in the title, I clicked as fast as I could! Awesome video!

Best start of the vlog
Haha Thank you, Thomas! Glad to hear you liked it! :)
First ride! Awesome!
Those first gen fuel injection Cats rock
I dont know what it is but your videos is just so entertaning to watch
Hello. Jeremy and Travis. Happy holiday.
My 2002 zr 600 efi was bogging and we found that there was water in the tank so we put isopropyl alcohol in the tank and that fixed it. Now she runs like a beast.
My first thought was there is water in the gas
Bustin out my Ski Doo Freeride 146 this weekend for the 1st time. Suppose to get hammered this week, looking forward to hucking off into some deep powder. Have a great Xmas Jeremy, Travis and Mike
Thank you, grandprismatic! Have fun out there with that awesome Ski-Doo! you should send me some pictures on my social media sites! I'll let the boys know you wished them a Merry Christmas! :)
awesome Vida buddy
Haha... Just saw Travis' prox on craigslist.... Haha I'm like, that looks familiar!!
What does Travis do for an occupation? You guys are so fun to watch!
Yes would like to see you work on Travis sled in your garage.
Man idk if I'm the only one, but I love watching people rip in older snowmobiles
Awesome video guys! It’d be cool to see work videos on the sleds.
Sick video, the music in the begining was awsome
Thanks buddy! An old Beach Boys song turned into a "trap remix". Haha
Hey Jeremy ( and Travis)
awesome first rip on the sleds guys ,,shame travis's sled was having problems ( It's always something yo)
we are in the middle of a winter storm advisory right now 4-8 inches tonight and 4 more wednesday
buying 3 older used sleds this weekend ,,should be lot's of fun
till next time ride safe my motorcycle brother from another mother ,,LIKED ( BIG BIG thumbs up )
I wish gopros had heated lenses, i have problems with snow collecting on mine too!
That would be Awesome if GoPro's had heated lenses.
Yeah, it's a real pain filming in the winter! Lately, my GoPros have been freezing and shutting off on me while filming!
I agree!!
Might need the fuel pump cleaned and keep up the great video's
When you put on the handle bar ends on the max did you have to sacrifice the handle bar heater cords?
always check fuel lines for any air or cracks mines did the same
Great vids!
Yes get her running good man. We want to see it
Nice vid again! I will probably come some winter to Vermont so you maybe wanna take a rip then?
I had the same problem with my 580 efi pantera...it was the clutch
Being that when you first went to start the sled you showed the throttle sticking. I would rule out the throttle safety switch first, cable could of been stretched just enough to put the TSS out of whack.
i want to see you work on it
best youtuber ever
I'm a newbie how much snow do you need to snowmobile if your in a flat field with little rocks
Pull and clean power valves. Check or clean clutches, add some of your special "cough medicine" to the fuel also.
Yes work on it in the garage. Try tracing the fuel system and clean out the fuel filter before spending money on a pump and battery
You guys are so entertaining can't wait till we get more snow in Maine maybe we'll invite you guys up to go ripping on 14000 miles of trails
I’m from Maine, this winter so far I’ve put IIO miles on snowmobile so far
also check vacuum line to the fuel pump for any cracks or loose fittings
if i had to guess id say cracked/kinked/frozen fuel line or water in the fuel. check the lines to see if there really hard and brittle if so change them, the smallest bit of air being sucked in will make it act like that. i doubt its a stuck power valve or throttle safety switch due to the fact that it comes and goes
I’m having the same issue I’m going to try and put new clutches on I got a arctic cat 440 prowler
i had an old indy 500 and i had that exact problem! for me it turned out i had some water in the tank and once i drained it and put fresh gas in and a new belt it doesn't skip a beat
We have a Polaris 340 light that started in one pull after three years
Late comment I know but I had an 89 340 sport that sat for 15 years and in one pull 20 mice came running out
Louie Salads 😂 lmao
I love this video
Hey Jeremy try lifting the snowmobile and throttle it before riding it could help alot if the belt is slipping. If not check for holes or cracks around the tubes or where the air goes into the engine, i had a problem where there was air in the choke hose check for bubbels there if not there could be a problem with the fuel
my exact sled was doing the same thing check the plugs and plug connections they sometimes do that
how is the new recoil holding up there Jeremy???
Love your videos
Thank you, Brandon! :) Glad to hear it! I appreciate your support!!!
could be fuel pickup line in the gas tank sometimes the tip of the lines rot off so it wont pick up all the gas in the tank.
my older Yamaha was doing that ,my problem was clutches were sticking
I have what is basically the same sled and had the same problem. If the sled isn't running right two things (maybe three) could be your problem. The firs is your altitude sensor freezing up. You can fix this by unplugging the "oxygenated fuel" cable that is right next to the computer. Another problem could be clogged injectors. you can fix that by removing them and cleaning them with diesel fuel or carb cleaner. the final problem could be fuel pressure- this can be fixed by either a new pump or getting a pump rebuild kit. Otherwise, just make sure you have sealed all of your vacuum lines. I will hopefully have a video up on my main channel- OutdoorPower with a quick overview of how to fix the RPM bogging and diving problem.
I had the same problem with my 580 ext efi I put a new battery in it and it ran great
Love your video's
What did you do to stop the bogging
have fun
Jeremy, you should make a video about your gopro setup because idk how you can do that without it getting wet lol
What red MXZ, all I ever saw was his black MXZ 700.
Great video merry Xmas to u and Travis and Mike from Ontario CANADA
Merry Christmas to you as well, Rob! Thank you! :)
Rob Woods I'm in Ontario as well
Andrew iam 2 hrs north of London in a town called Goderich ,where r u from
Rob Woods I am around ottawa
This is one of the best videos of Jeremy rhydes very first snowmobile vlog of the year just going to send it larry enticer style brappppppppppppp can't wait to her my f kin can quote by Larry enticer the send it guy
How did you get the bog out
Finally the king is on the sled
I am honored by your comment, Thomas!
how much for the srtic cat 600 or ski doo mxz 700
I would start with cleaning the carbs really good. the jets has a tendency to plug up when it sits over summer. And change the gas to new fresh gas. change the sparkplugs.
I droped a wrench down my panther 440. still is down their!
what type of sleds do you guys have??
fuel pump had the same problem with my 94 Indy 500 efi
Look at the secondary clutch if it is not engaging properly the sled will bog down and not move with much power like it is
Hey what did that issue turn out to be?
Fix it! Check fuel supply to carbs and make sure the carbs are clean and the jets sent blocked. Worth checking the breather on fuel cap aswel
It actually is an EFI. I think the fuel pump is going or a gas line is being pinched. Something of that sort!
We have about 60cm snow in here Finland.
Who makes the best back country, trail riding luxury fully loaded (Lincoln Continental equivalent) snowmobile? Kind of like the Honda Goldwing fully loaded equivalent.
Kelly Covey polaris switchback assault.
I miss snowmobiles....so much.
Nice I'm jealous it's 70 here in North Carolina
Secondary clutch issue...maybe clean out both clutches with compressed air?
Yep sounds good work on the Cat I'd like to know what the issue is got Cats myself
You should come down to utah and ride with my family in the back country
Yeah, let's see you work on it
Do you guys ever run gas line antifreeze? If not you should. Leaving them outside like that it will help .
Can't wait to see Travis Jump The Creek with the phaser
Which older sleds won't blow up? Basically no Arctic Cats? I thought Ski-Doo was the worst but this mxz seems reliable..
Are the fuel lines frozen?
Love these snowmobile videos man! I have a question about your audio, do you talk thru your go pro microphone or have a microphone connected to the go pro? If you have the microphone connected to the go pro how do you have it set up in your helmet? I like that idea of the microphone in the helmet
What state u live in? Great snow for snowmobiling
👋 hello from Alaska
That's sweet he's got trails so close to his house...im lucky to the groomer goes right behind my house
what kind of snowmobile is that both of them
the problem with the sled might be the throttle safety switch. at the base of the steering column there is a three wire plug that u have to unplug and plug back in. my sled had the same problem and it solved the problem. google for better information
What does Travian do as a job that allows him to travel for months at a time
dylan young I get 5 weeks vacation at my job, he could also be a firefighter, my dad gets like 2 months of vacation
what size is travos cat??
Are you going to ride the 800
It might be a carb issue might need to clean them or adjust them
