Yo friends! Thanks for watching the new video! FIRST 500 comments entered to win a NEW S1R Baton II Tactical flashlight, as well as a Ride More decal set!! Thanks for watching!! Who wants to see a tear down of the IQ 550???
Let's see your tear her down and maybe some upgrades?
Are your brakes on that side? Air cooled brakes can catch fire
I would keep the sled
What are you gonna do with that sled
The tear down would be pretty interesting. I live in central/north NJ an theres very little areas to ride off-road anymore so ive only bin riding street for the past 15 years or so.. I would love love love to have a snow machine or anything for strictly off-road for that matter.. But im a cnc machine mechanic so im interested in working on anything especially engines...
Your optimism and unconquerable spirit are impressive. Great content man.
Thank you! :)
Hey brother, the wife and i just love your vids.we are up in Canada in a little town called Revelstoke in the province Of British Columbia. We have become addicted to watching your vids. You talk to us viewers like real people and that is so refreshing.Keep the vids coming.
Get that ol girl cleaned up and running...I need to see more videos with all that great snow you just got!!!
Glad to see you got it back to your house. Can't wait to see the fix. Keep the videos coming 👍🏻
Absolutely love your content, love seeing all of these camping and snowmobiling videos! Keep up the good work!
Thanks man! I really appreciate it! Ride more! :)
Oh that sounds inviting. I wish I could get away. Thank you for the invite brother. Glad you got your sled back home
always something to overcome when out snowmobiling! thanks for sharing your struggles!
Glad to see you got your sled back !! Nice to see a fellow Vermonter making entertaining videos about riding snowmobiles. I can't wait for the 15th when the trails open. I don't have places to bomb around like you do. Keep the videos coming !!
Amazing vid man i have been watching you for almost 2yrs it is amazing to see the progress of this channel keep up the great work. i would also love to see a breakdown of this snowmoobile
Glad you were able to rescue the sled😅. Fix, repair, and Ride!!
Jeremy i gotta be honest.. Ur videos a frickin awesome.. Theres not a vlogger out there thats better..I realize videos take forever to put out but i wouldnt complain about a Jeremy Rhydes video everyday.. Thank for doing what u do my brother !!!!!
Thanks so much, Michael. I really appreciate that! I wish I could upload every day!
Glad it was ‘just’ a mouse nest. I don’t know how many times I have found nests in airboxes, exhausts, even sucked onto into my turbo no idea how it got past the aircleaner. Damage sucks but much better than an electrical fire. Nice recovery on your brother’s part ! Keep up the great videos !!
Awesome to see that much snow so early in the season, you are very lucky.
Here's a good trick to keep mice out. When the seasons over stuff some steel wool in the muffler. Just make sure to leave enough sticking out, to pull it back out in the fall.
Hi thank you for the quick follow up video on the burnt sled.
You are one of my favorite youtubers, please keep uploading
Good video.
My sled and bike are in the garage, but I've already discovered a mouse nest in the bike last season. They say dryer sheets prevent mice from building nests, so we'll see. The SRX 700 and Hayabusa are packed with them.
Good luck on the Polaris leaf blower. You'll get it.
You still got the MXZ 700, So life is good.
All that snow looks amazing!
I'm following along, whatever ya do...git 'er done!!
I guess I'd better start by telling you how much I enjoy your videos and watching you and others having a ball doing it. It all reminds me of my youth in Northern Alberta where we all had snow machines and lots of snow. Dirt bikes and ATV's abound either in the fields and forests or on the back of everyone's pick ups. Now at 5:03 you say "I wish I could have seen that before". Of course hind sight is 20/20 but I must say that the first time I saw you starting a sled at the start of a year and just going for it without an inspection of it I was surprised. Well not that much as I was young and anxious too once. But please remember that any sled or truck etc that's been sitting for even a few weeks you know those little "Buddies' of ours will have gotten into it and made a pile of kindling anyplace anywhere. You must have seen how many babies they have when you've been baling. Lifting up a bale and seeing the sometimes dozen little critters and their parents running you've got to know they are EVERYWHERE. Anyway I'll shut up as I'm not telling you anything you don't already know.
and that's why you check your engine bay fully before you start riding!!!!!! and that's why I like sleds with primers for cold starts!!!
That was cool of your brother to bring it back
Thumbs up for Brothers!
Glad to see you got it out.... most of our snow in Ontario just melted
Glad you got it home and figured out. Doesn't sound too expensive for some cosmetic parts. Get a proper gas cap first! Looking forward to the "fixing" video. P.S. I can't believe how much snow you have for this time of year. I'm in South Eastern Ontario and we have a dusting.
Yo, I'm trying to hit 1K subs.. Check my channel for moto content.🤘
props to your brother that's good on hium but goodluck with the sled!
Your brother is awesome! Big shout out to him
Glad to see ya got it back .... gotta hook your brother up with a cam , that would have been nice to see the recovery
I usually hook a shop vac up to one end of the exhaust and a blow gun and compressor up to the other end . Air box and exhaust those damn critters love
Keep up the amazing work Jeremy!!
I wish we had that snow in denmark 🇩🇰😩😩😩 but good video and keep up the good work, and good luck with the snowmobile 👍🏻
Nice job on the videos - have generally agree that you should make sure the carbs aren't lean as well as cleaning that junk out...maybe you can throw one of those plug temp gauges on there to make sure you're not blazing hot (they're cheap)
Glad to see that the sled didn’t burn down to the ground😅great vid man
Love your videos can’t wait till they open up the trials in Vermont
Glad you could get the fire out.
I'll give you an old farmers trick to keep mice out of parked snowmobiles or machines. When you're done putting it up for the year before you cover it by any wiring, small holes or tight open places put regular scented dryer sheets the more the merrier. I've been doing this for years and I store all my toys in an old hay barn and still no mice
I like your videos, but I think my favorite ones are when you are doing tear downs and fixing stuff. Keep it up dude
they are pretty easy to fix,
first video i noticed it was running rough, what is the compression on each Cyl?
Keep up the snowmobile videos
You need it primed. Just pull the small fuel line, they connect to the air box. Pull them off the air box and blow in them. It primes the carb with fuel.
Keep on keeping on
The old rope trick.. lol.. sucks when it's dark out having to do that lol.. but sometimes u got the moon light lol
My luck is when the choke knob falls apart and I lose the pin All in one setting. I cannot count how many times I had that happen. It got to the point I started carrying a pull cord with clip and a whole other choke lever and pin in my pocket in a plastic bag. Yup.... fun times. I dont miss THAT part of it. I think I told you the story of the acorns blowing all over the shed( on fire) That was when I learned to stuff the exaust with rags in the off season.
Call me dumb but that is the coolest trick ever to put a rope on the clutch. Never knew that! I know i coukd do that with my boat and an i/o engine but not a sled. Keep it up bud!
It's in the manual, as well as standard procedure in the Snowmobile safety course. All your pull start is doing is turning the crank. Just be sure that when you do this, you have the rope wound the CORRECT DIRECTION. Some clutches actually have a notch cut in them, specifically for this purpose. In a pinch, a belt works as well.
Nice work bud I worked at a cemetery they had a super old Generator you had to wrap the cord like that to start it
if you know you won t be riding for a few days and keep your sled in a barn or garage, have a small piece of steel wool next to where you park and stuff it into exhaust so they can't get up there. Especially over the summer.
Remember when I suggested pressure washing that thing? Probably would have saved this trouble! :) I am glad you were able to get it.
Next time you need to drag a sled, bring a crazy carpet. put it under the track and you can push it with 1 hand ;)
Seeing all that snow makes me wish I lived somewhere other than California. Good luck with operation mouse clean out
Good Luck too whoever wins 🏆💪
Well played on the rescue! Dedication!
Love your starting Tech!
Cool to see a RUclipsr from Vermont

Wow that’s a lot of snow!
Love these videos bro, keep posting. Sorry about the sled.
Little buggers have been giving me trouble all year, I even brought my sled in the house and they were still messing with it! I made sure to check under my muffler after your last video though and it was all clear haha.
Forced me to look under my exhausts. Sure enough, my early 2000’s viper big ole nest. The little bastards.
@@snowmobilingburberry oh man good catch! Ahh the power of RUclips videos haha.
I'm definitely gonna check my sled over again before i take it out
Have confidence quit saying I hope you like this video keep them coming
I cant believe you manage to keep your head high, even after your sled caught on fire, and you had to walk through all that pow to get there.
Well done!
you are the best youtuber
Nice snowmobile bro

You've inspired me to make a motovlog helmet setup and rip my mxz... we need another 4 inches here in MN
Awesome man! Glad to hear that! Let me know if you have any questions getting started.
We need another 2 feet in MN, no snow on the ground in central MN.....Waiting for snow.
@@JeremyRhydes Are you using the Dango GoPro Helmet gripper?
@@AustinMBecker I'm in Farmington and we have about 8 inches or so... One more good snow storm will do it!

Love watching your videos ,keep up the good work
Love your videos😁
Dude great vid keep up the good work
Not sure why you went for a primary pull when it is so easy to remove the recoiler and put the handle back on it, especially when you have the tooling. Glad you got it back but rule number one is work smarter not harder.
Thanks for the update!!! Should of bought a Cat!! LOL....look forward to more!
You Rock my friend! Ofc you are going to change the plastic! Because she deserves it!! ;)
Great video!
That's so cool your brother do that

Another great video
Nice!! Back home. Go thru the sled Jeremy. Make it a vid.
Couldn't you use a drill and socket to turn it over like on a lawn mower or mini bike?
