If you ever have space for one, the floor models do a better job of steaming, which I find saves enough time to add up over a pile of clothing. The nozzle and the hose are lightweight and small, so you can easily snake them up and inside the clothing, and steaming from the inside out does a better job for some reason.
I went 6 years on ink, cutting and taping, without a thermal printer. Then found a used rollo and I can safely say I should have bought it 6 years sooner haha

I just keep my old inkjet around to print the other stuff. The Rolo is faster, easier, still cheaper. If the inkjet works for you then yeah, no need to change up.

If you have a harbor freight in your area, or even possibly order them online, they are $.39 each and occasionally on sale for even less. The lint rollers (at the end of the season, not exactly sure which season, I apologize), but at the Dollar General I picked up some of the lint rollers at 75% off, so they were a quarter each and I bought everyone they had. 😃

For those of you buying packing peanuts and packing tape at Sam's Club, try to price them at a local packaging supply place. And watch the yardage! Some of those rolls are short yardage! My local guy sells all sorts of bulk bags, boxes, etc so much cheaper than any chain.
I keep hearing about thermal printers and haven't made the jump yet. I got my paper for free with the staples rebate and the free small customs envelopes from usps I use to hold the label. I only use $25 per year in toner. How much is it to run a thermal printer?
Hi, Not sure if you answer questions from the comment sections of your videos but I was just curious as to the exact benefits of steaming clothes. Do buyers care enough about wrinkles that it makes it worth my time to steam certain pieces instead of focusing on listing? Are steamers effective at removing certain stains? Just curious, I've been on the fence about getting one as I dont like to add time to the process of listing. Thank you for your videos and your potential future response to this comment. -Ridon P.S. - Thank you for the tip on free UPS thermal labels. I'll be sure to only use them when I ship with UPS. Anything else would be simply unconscionable. I'm sure no one would take advatage of this.
Stains, no, not to my knowledge. It does make a difference in terms of photo quality. A shirt that's all wrinkled to hell looks bad in photos. I steam when I think it's going to cut into my profits. Also, if somebody were to hypothetically store something improperly, like a wool suit, a steamer is nice to have before shipping. I hear.
I learn a lot from your tutorials. However, I print my shipping label out at nearly no cost aside from the electricity. My ink cartridges I bought for $1.00 at the local bins where I pick up a lot of salable items. My paper, I use paper that has already been printed on. O use the side that hasn't been printed on. Yes it takes me approximately 2 minutes to cut out and tape my shipping label. I use the other half of the paper that I cut the shipping label from to supply a note pad. I have a wooden clipboard with a spring clip at the top to hold the paper in place. Short of is I take the few minutes to do this to "Reduce-Reuse-Recycle". You said that the taping of printed shipping labels on the package "looks stupid." Really? I never took you as someone who gave a fuck what people thought. I'll tell you what really looks STUPID. Is the massive amount of trash just tossed around. Like the woman with RUclips video, "Ship with me." She sits there peeling shipping label and producing massive trash. Yeah, that looks stupid. But nothing is going to be done about it so..... Hairy furface tornado said the same thing about cutting and taping shipping labels, "it looks stupid." No, all that trash floating up and down the coast, that looks stupid.
This man buttoned up his second button! Things are getting serious 🧐
For the record - it was only done under EMERGENCY CONDITIONS of the lav mic flopping too far over to the side otherwise.

The Rollo. I think they just released a wireless version.
@@ThriftALife nope. I just checked. Again. They said on instagram a wireless would be out end of Q1 2021 but I think they've been promising that since 1990. I haven't used anything but my cell phone for years. I need wireless. I'm asking them weekly at this point.
For those of you buying packing peanuts and packing tape at Sam's Club, try to price them at a local packaging supply place. And watch the yardage! Some of those rolls are short yardage! My local guy sells all sorts of bulk bags, boxes, etc so much cheaper than any chain.
We would love to find a good-quality pilling trimmer. Wal-Mart sold us a POS
Love the “Jaws” reference! Ha! 😂
I keep hearing about thermal printers and haven't made the jump yet. I got my paper for free with the staples rebate and the free small customs envelopes from usps I use to hold the label. I only use $25 per year in toner. How much is it to run a thermal printer?
You just pay for the electricity.
Do you recommend getting a new thermal printer or a used one?
Dunno, the Rolo is the only one I've had and it was new. I think used would be just fine.
I refuse to buy a thermal printer, but thats only because the company that really pays me pays for my ink and paper :)
I love your videos an learn alot and you are a comedian
Thanks Dionne, appreciate that.
Hi,
Not sure if you answer questions from the comment sections of your videos but I was just curious as to the exact benefits of steaming clothes.

I hear.
I didn’t catch the name of the shoe/ leather cleaner thanks again ehhh
Angelus
SALSA SHARK! Immediate question to self: how many other nerds laughed balls when you made that reference? 11:15
Dude your the best
I heard a quasi Clerks quote! Bunch of savages in this town.
Truthful & useful information....even though I had to google a few of your descriptive words. JK - I can hang with multisyllabic verbiage.
Love my rollo
Yea be careful with that sweater shaver people. I put a hole in a lululemon top..I might have died that night.
I burned the shit out of my arm with a steamer, but I have the one you have now and it does what it needs
Whats the name of that printer again?
Hairy furface tornado said the same thing about cutting and taping shipping labels, "it looks stupid." No, all that trash floating up and down the coast, that looks stupid.
holy crap
Seems like a lot of work. I usually just drop the price lol
How important is a RUclips channel for a reseller?
Congrats on your vaccine appointment! I just received my second dose. So happy!
