    I have no idea how you do it but you always amaze me. I commented on one of your more recent videos about pop singing tone. You've helped me find my pop tone and my vibrato in one day. I've always had hints of vibrato come out here and there, but today was the first time it came out in a controlled manner. By far, the best vocal teacher on RUclips.

    Bruh, you said it wasn't a quick fix, but I'm half way through the video and although it's quiet and requires a lot of focus to bring out. I can get vibrato. I've been working on this for years and had loads of exercises, but no one has ever told me that it's just about relaxing the throat. That being said I have had training about controling the voice, so maybe that's why it came faster to me. I cannot express my thanks in words ❤️❤️🤧

    Hey Victoria! Thanks for another great video! I've been struggling with finding my natural vibrato and mostly manufacturing it which ends up sounding a little lame lol. Looking forward to the second video :) Thanks again and Happy 4th!

    Victoria, is 'Gospel Jaw' vibrato just stage posing or poor techniue? a couple of my favourite metal singers: Bruce from Iron Maiden, Tim Owens ex Judas Preist do this quite a lot, but are both considered 'proper' technique vocalists by most.
    Can this jaw wiggle sometimes be an 'add on' to a larnyx vibrato? thanks :) (my 'singing' guitar vibrato uses hand,wrist,forearm all together...)

    • @Victoria-Victorious
      @Victoria-Victorious  2 года назад +3

      No, the jaw should not be used to help make pitch. A lot of this jaw movement is due to tension and is not necessary, even if it sounds good.

    No matter how hard I try, my vibrato always sounds like a machine gun. (think Nina Simone in Lilac Wine or any Tracy Chapman song). I've tried different exercises over and over, but my vibrato speed stays the same or is sometimes inconsistent (different fast speeds). What exercises do you recommend for that specific problem? Or what is the problem here exactly, so I can begin to fix it?

    • @Victoria-Victorious
      @Victoria-Victorious  2 года назад +4

      I would have to see and hear you to have a better idea, but generally, a fast vibrato is due to tension, jaw jutting forward, and a high larynx. See my playlist on the Tight Throat and my latest video on the larynx. You might consider submitting a video for review and I can give you some exercises: www.healthyvocaltechnique.com/product/video-review-of-your-singing/
