Before they shut their doors and need to sell below sticker price then we can all rush in and buy it to make sure they don't go bankrupt.
Yeah, that's not up to the manufacturer really. Those markups are happening at the dealer level. So, in this case, it isn't Ford doing it, it's the dealerships. This very thing is part of the reason that manufacturers, such as Ford, are looking hard into changing the dynamic between manufacturer, dealer, and customer. Possibly including cutting out dealerships entirely. It remains to be seen how that all shakes out in the end.

I wanted to go inside of a Geo Tracker but, a lots of teens or early 20’s climbing in and out. I did see a lot of cars, vans, and trucks. I had a blast with my parents for it.

You guys are right about the car shows becoming a dying breed. I just attended the Philadelphia auto show and was shocked by how many brands were not there. No Audi, Porsche, Mercedes, Acura, Lincoln, Volvo, Mazda, Hyundai, Infiniti, or Cadillac 🙄

Fun fact for anyone thinking about swapping cabs between trucks, they're dimensionally similar but there is difference in structure to handle the higher weight of the heavy duties in the roof and pillar structure... However, doors would be no problem.
Some people are still stuck in the past as far as vehicle weights and towing. Took my 5th wheel in for service and was told I can't be towing that weight with A 2500. Told him to put it on the scale. The rv fully loaded with a full tank of gas and was well within weight

Perhaps the one thing I enjoyed was actual ford factory workers working the exhibit booths…spoke to a couple who work on the Lightning. I learned that they assemble about 70-80 lightning trucks a day and takes between 20-24 hours to assemble one. Lightning spends 5 minutes 30 seconds per station whereas the normal F150 spends 53 seconds at each station…the daily record is 88 Lightning trucks assembled in one day.
I've got the Custom trim model, pretty much stripped but,what sold it was the BLACKED OUT VERSION. Same silver color w no chrome. Only complaint, since I got custom trim, the Suspension isn't good compared to the Z71/ High Country. I've got 8k miles, Oil change intervals are 15k/or 1yr whatever comes first. I upgraded to Lasfit LED LED lights the whole complete package and what a GREAT upgrade difference it made. I will be leveling the truck and upgrading to Bilstein shocks .
This is one of the best informational automotive videos I have seen to date on the internet. I have a 2015 Mercedes-Benz gl550 twin turbo. My engine looks identical to the vehicle in your video. Lately I have been getting an intermittent check engine light. I took my vehicle to the local auto parts store and had them code read my vehicle. The code showed that ignition coil G is malfunctioning. I want to replace this myself because of the insane cost at the dealership. Is it necessary to disconnect the battery to replace the ignition coil? I saw in previous videos that disconnecting the battery in Mercedes-Benz completely wipes all of the codes, but there's a code saving tool that can be connected to save the codes.
Looked at it & went w/ '22 Ranger Tremor. No regrets. Amazing truck. Hard to find! Had to order it took 3mos but they took care of me. All midsized trucks are excellent the Ranger just suited me best.

@swami539 Absolutely 💯 correct. All are very good. The Gen2 TGDI powertrain in Ranger is amazing /Dana axles. Very overbuilt. That 2.3L is so far from stressed at 275hp its crazy. They getting 360hp w/Ford performance sanctioned power pak. Tho as ya said great time to buy new midsized trucks!

As an older truck buyer, I would love to see the two of you do a show that examines explicitly the luxury truck market (platinum, limited, Denali, etc.). I think this category is a really important market full of motivated buyers that are quietly driving pricing and should not be overlooked in today's economy. I tried ordering online at Ford and could not find this vehicle’s options. It gives you the xl/xlt grill if you want the black appearance package and did not see these wheels.
The ford front end is a step back in design in my eyes. I noticed that the f150 cab felt the same as the f350 I had. But on my sierra hd at4 feels larger than my buddies 1500 sierra. Can you clarify that on the gm trucks ?
TFL jet would be fun, you guys travel enough you could review the jets you fly in. That Colorado is nice looking. Maybe a different color and aggressive tires. If you buy this superduty either you won't be able to afford a mortgage so ford lets you sleep in it or your significant other is going to kick you out and you'll be sleeping in it.
You don't need a CDL to drive your personal truck, case in point farmers can drive their own loaded grain trucks WITHOUT a CDL. As long as it is your personal truck you are NOT required to have a CDL.

I have a 2020 F 250 xl for sale. I ordered the 2023 xlt and its almost shipped. I got the single cab long bed with 7.3 2-wheel drive. STX package for sale. This combination is not available anymore. You can only get the 7.3 with xlt or better.
Honest question....why do so many half tons with really short beds on lots? Are they used for towing? I can't seem to get by with anything less than 6 feet. Even on my 04 Ranger. Glad to see Toyota still offers Tacoma with a 6 foot bed. Nice video.
