Thank you very much for taking the time to show this product. I would like to ask what happens if the speaker is accidentally disconnected from the mains? After plugging it back will it be on or do I need to press the power up button again? I would appreciate your help. Thank you
Hello , thanks for watching and your feedback. To answer your question, if the speaker is unplugged and then plugged back in without hitting the power button it will resume power and stay on . Thanks .
I have the IRX112 and it is a decent speaker. The output is not as high as the PRX and the IRX is lacking in bass. However unlike the EON700 you can easily turn off the Bluetooth. If I am correct the BT on the EON700 locks onto the first device you pair it with. That would keep others from pairing. However to unpair, you will have to go to your phone or tablet and unpair it from there. You can also need to turn BT off on your phone or device at a gig if you are not using BT. I like the PRX because it's output is probably 6db louder and clearer than either the IRX or EON. For a nice paying pro gig outdoors the PRX gets the job done with it's higher output. I did keep the IRX and I think that along with the EON would make good speakers for lower level gigs such as a pool party, party at a house, happy hour party. Really any gig without super loud output requirements. I also kept my IRX for gigs where my gear might get roughed up such as the threat of rain, etc. The IRX can also be my DJ monitor or live sound monitor if I need one. I can also use it for a 2nd room speaker ...
@@vzeller I GUESS.. if you maybe had multiple speakers connected and wanted to shut one off in a separate room,You would have the ability to do that. Just by a button “pass through on and off. But you can still have it cable connected. Or only sending high or low frequencies via the pass thru to subs or other cabinets speakers .. You can turn them off or on at your own leisure. My take…thanks.
Thank you for watching and your question. I don’t play instruments but from reading forums & I’ve heard comments from people / opinions. The Eon 710s are good for vocals only but just ok for an acoustic guitar. Most recommend the Eon 712 or Mackie 12 inch for a little better volume and sound coverage. Thanks .
Great video. Some Specs you should check on the 710: You said 33 lbs I see 26lbs. You said 127dB I read 125 dB. One important consideration you should mention - All new Eon speakers- MK2, PRX, 710 all have a 7 year warranty. Not sure what the 610 had?
Thanks for watching and your feedback. Sometimes website have different specs I always try the actually item page but sometimes I use other sources. Thank you for all the information… plus a 7 year warranty I did not know that … definitely good info!
Hello , thanks for watching and the question. These are great speakers but had a little hiss louder then normal when testing / when I made this video but that probably was one of my cables with interference. So probably my bad . Thanks .
During some of my wedding gigs my 710’s ran for 8-10 hours with no issues. A lot factors thou .. environment (heat) , air flow , and high volume levels. So that’s my best answer 8 - 10 hours at normal volume levels .. not maxed and indoors with air conditioning . Less time to be safe Outside in hot weather or hot venues and high volume levels . My opinions only . Thanks
Hello , thanks for watching and your question. Unfortunately not a very good comparison . The 710 is a PA loudspeaker projects highs and midrange more but sound great. The party 710 is all in one portable speaker with a lot more features for playing music and effects built inn. Sound wise the party speaker will project ok and have more low end sound up close .. in my opinion. But it is floor speaker , has built in lights , and is water resistant / splash proof. Supports tws for two speakers but is made more for single speakers use / small party’s in my opinion. The Eon710 are more Dj type PA speakers made to project large venues via pole mount tripods , and connect to controllers or mixing boards maybe be paired with a subwoofer (different connections / inputs). Also small and portable for gig use . They are very different speakers but both could be used for dj use. Bluetooth to one speaker sounds awesome but when I Daisy chain a second speaker from the pass throu it sounds horrible and clips very easily. Hours of messing with the gain and still sounds terrible. Have you had this problem.
Thanks for the watching and your question. I have not had issues with either Bluetooth Or Daisy chain. I do notice with a pass thru connection it does take me awhile to adjust both to consistent /equal volumes correctly. Also check app to make sure both speakers adjustments are all the same too. Thanks for the info & feedback.
Can you turn the 710 power on and off remotely? For an install. Also, does it save your settings when you turn it off? Do other bluetooth devices interfere with it?
Thanks for watching & your questions. No , can’t remotely turn off or on the speaker . Yes , speaker does save your settings and app Locks to one device at a time so other devices can’t access your device . Is possible to receive signal interference possibly depending on your location and surroundings. But I have not had issues. Thanks .
I guess for the eon 600vs 700 would be taking care even more of the app/ but more the dsp lcd what if it breaks or cracks And not mention the knob when transporting or lending them to ppl or helping carrying them how would you connect to app . And there’s so much lcd speakers now days we have to baby them abit more 😂

One question I had is about the app how it communicates to speakers and how is Bluetooth audio streaming like - is it easy for anyone to just add to the speaker and mess up my event or does it need to go to a does cual sequence to start searching for Bluetooth devices or will it automatically start search mode if my device isn’t close by ? I have eon600 today after months ago 😅 did the app check update ect but til now I was able to do a heavy test on the app I was disappointed also like on the prx 800 app it’s like bad we have a volumen trim if we don’t know or forget to not touch or lower that trim master cause I’ll mess up w over all audio level of the sound . On the eon those options of EQ +/ user EQ are a joke can’t really disable them even though they kinda make it look like it’s engaged and off but they are still there 😂 it’s hard to explain for me but yeah I just keep it all flat with the modes speech / sun ect it’s mode then what we needed in reality. I like the 610 sound punch over the 615 but maybe later I get 710 I guess
Yes, I do know the speaker locks 🔒 to a single device when connecting to the app … so if use a tablet it’s locked to it till you unlock from it to add it to another device like a phone.. so you can’t just use multiple devices.. kinda a positive and negative. So people can’t get to your speaker but if you forget your locked device your out of Luck to use the app. Thanks
