Cool. I ended up getting some prorecks for my backyard djaying after watching your vids. I lucked out and got the club 6000 on sale. Outta the box its decent. But lacks the low low punch. However, they had a labor day 3 day sale. I bout 6 more arrays (club8000set) and two more 15's one powered and passive. All cheaper than a complete proeck 8000. After 3 weeks of breaking in the bass is filling out now. But once I connected them to a mixer man they sounds so much better. So now my system consist of 4-15s and 10 arrays. Lucky for me I have 2 acres and no close neighbors 😊.
I just got the Club 6000 for my 5-piece rock band. I think it will be good for even medium sized outdoor gigs. It's pretty loud. Can't imagine needing anything more.
Great information thank you. I'm tossing options around for a small place (single room for dancing/working out type) that needs full range of sound for various music. Leaning towards the 6000, two 15s needing the base feeling for some. You mentioned you don't follow the actual power ratings listed. Would the 8000 be a better choice? Have you had any long term testing for reliability? I need these to last.
Thank you for watching and your question. I’m a fan of the ProReck 6000 but if you like more low end the 15 inch system will have more. Back in the day (When I first started) i used a lot of home theater type subwoofers , which most don’t use fans .. they worked well. If you do a lot of outside hot weather gigs or hot rooms it’s probably necessary to have , but a normal inside gig with normal hours of use (not running all day) . In My opinion I am ok with no fan. So far for me in a lot of years I have never fried an amp ( fan type or not ) but I have blow some speakers 🙂i will still look into the review thou thanks .
Thanks for watching and your question. I have never owned the MX10 .. I’ve owned similar sets from other manufacturers thou . For basic sound / background music it should be fine. Only issues I read about was either amp issues or shipping damage problems. So as long as it ships ok and the amp performs. It looks like a decent portable system. I own the 6000 and I absolutely love it. At times on certain really low hitting frequencies; like 50hz or lower, the subs can sound a little shallow. Luckily for me, I also own a Peavy eighteen inch powered sub I run with my set up. It more than picks up the slack in that area. I always get complimented on how good my system sounds. That’s for watching and your question. The 6000 is similar to the 4000 arrays wise but smaller subwoofers . So it’s a 4000 with two 15 inch subwoofers instead of one 18 inch. So the arrays are good and probably a little better low end coverage with two subs one passive , one powered . But still similar sounding and comparable loudness in my opinion. Thanks .

Hi I just purchased the proreck 8000 and I can't seem to get the bass to a low frequency where basically for your room bar to shake. Is there something I can do cause I want super low hard hitting bass
Hello , thanks for watching and your question. Of course test all your settings regarding , sub volume, frequency, and phase . Also in any room sub placement is very important as well. Lots of videos available for suggestions/ info . Last suggestion is running a stereo system equalizer between your audio source and the ProReck system to dial in a specific sound… all are suggestions that might help. Thanks .
You pretty much won´t, its a garbage design and a garbage brand. Get something proper like qsc or even jbl. Or if you want cheap go with the ld systems icoa 18 (sounds about as good as a qsc ks118 and will have plenty of bass and it can go as deep as 29hz which is crazy low)
You say that you message sales and get a response, but I've been messaging and calling customer service for a week with no response. I think once you make a purchase you're on your own!
This is an absolute garbage brand. Ive had the unfortunate situation of hearing 2 bands now rocking the proreck Club 8k and to say the least its got about as good a frequency response as my laptop running a song recorded with a clipped input. First of all the so called "linearray" comes with comb filtering out of the box, the frequency curve walking across the system is like someone turning on and off a 6db shelf filter in the midrange. The bass is about as good as you can expect from that price range, barely any thump in the high 60´s and nothing to hear below 50hz not to mention the throw, i cant believe someone would haul a system of that size out to an event only to barely cover 100ppl. Even a system like the db tech es1203 blows the 8k out of the water and its not even a competition. Yeah its more expensive, but having 2 tops with 4 4'' speakers and a dual 12 that combined weighs less than one of the 18´s in that system is a joke. Save for a bit longer and buy some proper gear instead of this stuff. It wont last, they don't do customer support and Jesus Christ if its too good to be true its probably not true. Get a pair of 12 or 15 tops used and buy something like a Ld systems Icoa 18 sub (and actual sub that's much cheaper than its performance and value) and you are probably looking at spending about 1500usd. And yes, that would absolutely destroy anything proreck has in their lineup. Proper input and a decent mixer hooked up to that will impress almost anyone. Don't waste your time with this china crap. And this is coming from an Audio Engineer whos worked with everything from mackie to D&B audio technic arrays!
