I really enjoyed this BatRep! Quite an interesting little Cities army there, and I appreciate seeing new stuff from the Wrath book. Might have to pick it up for my own Slaaneshi Host. :)
Gotta say, the Matt vs Vito batreps are becoming my favorite. Love the banter between you two. Also new batrep style is getting much better. As others have said it feels a lot more natural. Keep it up fellas!
Good game watching the seesawing of the dice and double turns. After the blimp and stank died I thought it was over but the quick thinking on redeploying the ships was excellent.
hmm, So much room for expansion with my Cities gonna end up at like 10k points or something stupid going forward. Gunhaulers etc look like brilliant fun to use!
Just mix up the maddening background music, and these will be perfect. For now it's unbearable to watch in more quiet parts. Please guys, if you could change the production style, might as well add a few new tracks to the playlist!
Are Skaven really a chaos army now? I’m just now starting to learn more about AoS but from how they were in Fantasy I would have thought they would be Destruction (even though their god is technically some sort of cousin of the chaos gods or whatever).
To make sure I understood the battle deployment rules for the mission, if you were a Living City army, you would be unable to use its Hunters of the Hidden Paths ability since there can be no reserves?

The double turn is so op and game breaking i dont get it.yes it can be funny but its to much about luck the dice us already a big luck factor i just dont get it
Well they changed the Locus of Diversion so it's on 5+ instead of 4+ (so greater daemons have 3+ rather than 2+) and the increased all of the summoning costs by a lot (5 dp increase in most cases with a 15 dp increase for 30 daemonettes and a 9 dp increase for keepers).

"You can use this command ability in the combat phase, when it is your turn to pick a unit to fight with. If you do so, pick 1 friendly Hedonite unit that has already fought once in that combat phase and is wholly within 12" of a model with this command ability. That unit can be selected to fight for a second time if it is within 3" of any enemy units. You cannot pick the same unit to benefit from this command ability more than once in the same combat phase."
Man, GW kills me sometimes. They toned down Locus of Diversion because, well, it's incredibly strong at the original 2+/4+, but today they were actually showcasing the Mindstealer Llamacat's nearly identical ability that effectively works 5/6th of the time. From a model that cost 100 points. Insane, even if the thing's way more fragile than a GD. Bet that one gets nerfed hard.
Effective 2+ 12" range Always Fight Last on a 100 point model isn't good enough for you? Oh, and it's a legit ally choice for multiple Chaos armies to boot, so expect to see discount-priced Slaneshi shenanigans all over the place - at least till it gets nerfed.
I’m not sure I like the overly soupy armies... I’m also the type that doesn’t like duel classes or skill based systems (I prefer class based) in my RPGs lol... I guess I like specialization and niche strategy.
Cities showing weak as usual. The double turn mechanic showing us here that it can help the lesser amy, while if the stronger army gets it they just win faster.
Missing the old format. This format really feels like you guys are not having fun, but instead are in the middle of some school speech and are afraid you will fail if you feel normal.
Vito shouting "I'm gonna give you the tongue Matthew, on 3s!" took me to a very dark place that I may never return from

mobility is nice and all but when nothing in the army does any damage whatsoever that is pretty insufficient when all things are said and done.

Good video, very few mistakes. Just be wary that you cannot active attack again if you are not within 3” of an enemy unit,
In this case he can because the Keeper had charged. You can activate units within 3” of enemies OR units that have charged.

Tempest eye's battalion is horrible 2 out of 4 units already have that ability
The purpose is to give the pistoliers the ability to retreat, shoot, charge and use their rule to shoot when they charge for a double volley
