Can I still use the usb external soundcard from the previous Pro X model and put it on this one?
Thanks for the review, do you know how to set the sampler in the Ghub setting for pro x2? idk how to assign marco or key to it thanks!
Can i use this headset with my astro mixamp on the xbox series x ?
Can I use these with soundblaster software instead of the logitech software? I don't mind the logitech software, but I have a soundblaster x4 dac/amp, so I'd prefer to use that software.
I’m currently trying to find the best eq n surround sound settings any suggestions?
Thank you very much for the insightful review. 6:45 in that case can I also connect it to the Wave XLR from elgato via 3.5 mm?
I have an issue with this headset when im in discord or ts my friends can hear every sound twice. Because the mic is recording the sound what comes out of the headset. I tried everything in g hub but nothing works. Has someone the same issue ? If anyone have an solution for this problem pls help me.
Nick my man, why haven't you been doing more of these peripheral reviews? You are amazing at it. I want more!!!! As for the headset, I never thought I'd find a headset that would replace my Arctis Nova Pro wireless. These are so damn good. I'm working on my written review too.
Did anyone check if you can monitor your voice with this headphones connected to an interface in the wireless mode?
Does anyone knows if the Logitech G pro X2 is compatible with Dolby Atmos for Windows I'm unsure due to the G Hub software, and does it work well with that headset?
Thank you, but is there any 3rd party mic to change?
Welp still waiting Powerplay upgrade.
Banger of a video fams. Ouch about the price, other than that they look nice. Keep up the hard work
Thanks for the review!
Finally rotating pads for these types of headsets! This design that almost every brand ships nowadays, screams "clamping effing headache!" But with the rotating pads, it may fit better for most people. I do hope the plastic(?) parts where the adjustable metal headband slides in and out from is more durable this time. The original one had the very same breaking issues as on its G9xx predecessors. That part there should made from metal, especially for that price.
Oh wow all of those voice eq presets look so unique and different 😂. These are MUCH more reasonably priced... might end up yolo-ing for pc/ps5, solid roundup!
I loved the pro x, I just got my third pair because I lose dongles. What is really keeping me from just going for it it the EQ. I use the advanced EQ daily. Is this an option for the PRO X 2?
is this good for mobile gaming using bluetooth mode?
Are the x2 pro Dolby compatible?
I would like to ask that if I have already set it up like downloaded the software and then turned blue voice on then set it to headphones, so it means that if I bluetooth on my phone then I would have blue voice already enabled?
since you have 4 headsets could you compare the static hiss of the X to the X2 when nothing is playing. I cant stand the hiss and if the X2 have no hiss i will buy them on the spot! that also might be why the volume seems to be a bit lower on the newer model. the wireless version of the X has the drivers locked at 100% gain with no way to adjust it, which creates a hiss/white noise when nothing is playing. lowering the gain on the X2 most likely fixed this issue. ive tried 4 wireless X's and all of them hiss, but i havent tried the X2 yet.
Would these be a worthy upgrade to my G935 or should I just stick with them ?
thanks for your time
Logitech G Pro X2 how to contented wireless to pc ?
Hello! Can i ask you something? Is 3.5mm connection works in bypass mode? I mean, does it ignore any headset's electronics and allows you to listen just like standard wired headphones with all work done by sound card/phone/amplifier?
could someone please explain why some "ordinary" bluetooth headsets makes it not recommended for gaming because of the latency: does it really make an huge difference?
I've got the Nova 7X rn but the fitment on my head is horrible. Debating between these and the normal X Wireless for single player games
Quick question for anyone who uses this along with a mixer.
Is there any way to control the volume on these without controlling the entire system volume? Like for instance, my arctis pro wireless set, the volume wheel just controlled the headset volume, didn't touch anything on the actual PC. Workaround to this or am I returning these?
Windows will set your default audio device to the volume control. If your mixer is the primary audio interface it shouldn't be a problem.
Amazing shots and overall review as always!
Would you pick these over let‘s say Nova Pro Wired? Cuz they are roughly the same price
What did you go for?
The 3.5 mm input on the original Pro x wireless headset only output 80% of the volume being put in. Can you confirm or deny that this is the same? Of streamers and even just gamers use mixers nowadays and need a output from that mixer into their wireless transmitter
Hi! There are people say that with the latest firmware update, you can now save the EQ setting to the headset which can work now on PS5. Could you confirm this?
Thanks!
I did notice that. I'm fairly sure they are right
@@GearSeekers Awesome! Thank you so much!
What I'm most interested in is the lag when you play games. Is the sound of a shot delayed when you connect with bluetooth? Is there any sound delay at all? I have a pair of Jabra 7 pro in ear bluetooth and the delay is terrible with them.
Run wireless instead of Bluetooth and you have no “lag” on pc
@@tepidlost Yup, thank you. No lag at all.
does the mic sound any different when used in wired mode?
nope
i use them with dolby atmos and they are incredible. You have to use usb audio device driver for headset instead of logitech driver though. Dolby atmos for headphones helped my Razer blackshark v2 pro 2023 and these g pro x2's so much! Highly recommend.
I find they are not very loud for music.
What about this compared to steelseries nova pro wireless?
i wanna know this too
Nice video and great points as so many things are subjective.
If not using the Pro X or the Pro X2, what other headset would be a viable option? I've had a couple steelseries and they have both been a letdown.
The razer blackshark v2 pro 2023 edition is great as well as the steelseries arctic nova pros, Ik you said that the other headsets have been a letdown but the audio on the nova pro is pretty crazy. Something like the audeze Maxwell’s are insanely good too
@@Statzer999 Blackshark V2 2023 user here, the hinges (right ones specifically) are really poor in quality and they fell apart after 6-7 months of careful use. There have been many, many reported cases of the same issue on the same exact hinge.
The blue sound settings didn't change like they did on other people YY videos weird
I got g-pro x gen 1 and they ar awsome 🤙
i got mine today i love em. the mic quality isn’t as bad because i got it set up through a go xlr mini but man i’m facing a problem right now with it picking up the game audio no matter what after i adjust the game volume, the mic threshold and noise gate.
same issue. Found no solution yet did you ?
@@marvinmelle3754 ended up buying a blue encore 100. sounds crisp no issues and no game audio picked up
@@marvinmelle3754 but no. no solution
Thanks for the review! Awesome job!
Just a question though, you mentioned that the pro x2 can be connected through bluetooth. My question is can you connect them to, let's say your phone, while they're connected to the pc? For example to watch youtube reels on your phone between league/valorant/r6siege games
They can only be used with 1 source at a time :)
@@GearSeekers so would that mean you cannot connect it to your phone and pc at the same time or does it only play audio for one of them? because I have that with a different pair of Headphones, they can be connected to phone and pc but only play audio from one of them depending on what I am playing
@@partinmalm Correct. They can be connected to your phone and PC at the same time, but you will have to switch the audio input as audio is only played from one source at a time.
There’s a 3.5mm on the back of the wireless dongle you can plug your phone into for music and such.
@@deserte099 ahh. :( i was hoping that you could have simultaneous sound from both sources especially at that price point
Does the microphone block out background noise ?
Yes, quite good at that
It's tough to go wireless when you're used to a frequency response range of 5 Hz - 40KHz and also have to accept a mic worse then your webcam. I guess I am stuck with a cable :P
Is it me or are they lacking volume?? Feel like it’s missing some boom when listening to music
Thats what I was saying as well. They are a lot quieter than the older Pro X
im an in ear type of guy, great review guys
You should review the Razer Blackshark v2 Pro (2023)
Im rocking the G733 headset and its quite fine for the price that i paid for them
ладно спасибо за классный ревью, оч полезно
Blue Voice Speaker settings all sounded pretty much the same via speakers.
I have both the X Pro and X2 Pro. I couldn’t handle the 30 hour battery on the last gen. The comfort and sound is way better on the new gen. Plus 50 hours battery life.
How bout the mic on it does it sound good?
I had to return my pro x, coming from a astro a50 the g pro x has trash sound quality and is super unconfortable
The lack of Windows spatial audio (Sonic/Atmos/DTS:X) support is a dealbreaker. Very bizarre that a brand new $250 headset mean for PC gaming doesn't support that. Also the 5 slider EQ is not good enough. Need at least 10 sliders to be useful and a "Link EQ Sliders" button. Also the lack of wired USB audio support is disappointing. You can charge via USB but not get audio via USB. Wired USB audio would have higher bit depth/sample rate audio.
So the gpro x and gpro x2 lightspeed sounds practically the same but x2 is better in a way
The mic on that headset is *CRAP* - like literally insulting considering the price of the headset.
Don't the X2 have twice the battery life of the previous one ? Quite a difference!
he discusses that in the video.
At that price, I might as well get a good audiophile headphone...
Got them today and damn its amazing. The price is expensive but you instanly realize why. Build quality and sound from this headset is on its own level
I have a question is the mic quality that bad? I have another studio mic I use but want a backup mic just in case that fails so what do you think about it as a backup microphone just in case
@@LeoSabia-ub8uc i mean it works and will do the job but it will not sound great search up mic test
@@patrick476 ok man thanks I can’t wait to get mine looks like a great headset
does ur power button kind of wiggles as well or is my headset broken?
@@xzahrolinex0522mine is pretty sturdy but it can wiggle a tiny bit if you touch it
sq for a brows
Christmas is going to be expensive for me lol
Noice! 😃
My opinion: they aren't that great for gaming. Here's why: The bass is great, I can easily hear footsteps, but when it comes to weapons firing at any distance, they sound terrible. I have tried tweaking the EQ a bit, but I've honestly never had to tweak an EQ for my old headset which still sounds 100 times better right out of the box.
WTF $449 🇦🇺
We continue to get scammed re tech prices 🤬🤬
$250 I’ll pass. That’s little high. There’s much better sounding headphones out there for less.
and what are they? Must be wireless btw.
@@equasezyblackshark v2 pro is $130 less. I've tried the original g pro x's and if this 2nd gen isn't substantially better, I'd 1000% say blacksharks are better. The g pro x's are not worth $250. Bro is right. And I like logitech. But realistically, they're not worth that.
bit of a loser move to include a black mic mefinks (to a white headset like his)..
That’s Logitech not him lol
@@Isaac1ofone i know
You can get Audeze Maxwells for that price.
IMO, I need more 100 USD if I want to buy Audeze maxwells on my country >.< It's on same price with Steelseries Arctis Nova Pro
@@hasyidanparamanandano one cares about your country
No they cost more nearly everwhere new, also, they are heavy and much less comfy then these are, there are some tradeoffs ofc.
@@vreplayz3159 okay? Stop being poor and weak
@@vreplayz3159tell me you haven't used the Maxwells without actually telling me you haven't used the Maxwells. They are superior in every way. They were $469AUD from addicted to audio a couple weeks ago.
Yo I came from Tik tok please give me the pc I have never owned a pc in my whole life it would be a dream come true to own one ❤❤
It's completely random
Tbh a 3060 and a ryzen 5 gaming pc is pretty decent as long as your not looking for 1440p 100+ FPS lol, otherwise my best advice is to save up for a pc with a 4070 to get that kind of performance which can cost around $1500, which is pretty decent if you ask me for the performance you are getting.
Mic sounds absolutely horrible for the price. Like about as bad/good as a mediocre 1995 clip-on mic.
We must use different mics. They are excellent
