In this new course I start with the basic principles of 3ds Max poly modeling using a series of tutorials and projects. Poly modeling, of course, is a technique with which you can model pretty much any kind of organic form you can imagine. It offers total creative freedom in 3d, if you can get over the steep learning curve of some of the more mysterious techniques.
If the basics of poly modeling are below your level, you are encouraged to skip ahead into the projects, of which there are 3. Each project builds upon the one before, progressively covering more and different kinds of tools. By the end, students will model an organic, photorealistic piece of furniture. We will also go over how to UVW unwrap the furniture.
