For me I find long focal length images show a shot from the outside looking in, whereas a short lens, say 28mm, makes it known that you were there in front of or with the subject. For this reason the short lens is my preference as I feel it connects the photographer with the scene or subject. Either way, each to their own creative preference . 📷😎👍👊👋
Absolutely true! Completely different type of photo’s depending on the focal length. Those immersive wide angle street shots make you feel as if you are there yourself, long focal length shots feel more voyeuristic. But, when starting out, with a long lens you are more likely to shoot photo’s that are decent in my opinion.. Nothing like getting those close shots though 😎
