What a lovely pattern. I have a black dress that I wear to parties, etc. I like to dress it up with different shawls. This will be a hit. I'm going to make this right away.
Hi EMI was looking for a summer CAPELET.... MY MIND SAID HECTANOOGA ❤️ NOW I CAN MAKE ME ALL DESIGN 💐 THANK YOU FOR YOUR AWESOME HANDWORK 👌GOD BLESS YOU 🙏🙌
Thank you for sharing this lovely caplet. Now I can wear my sleeveless dresses, what a great idea. I have some glitter yarn I might use for rows 2 and 3, so it sparkles a bit at the top.
Hmmmm... I did answer, but I don't see the response... yes, you could use a 5 or 5.5 hook, but the work will be more dense, although you can stretch the finished shawl as much as possible when wet, and achieve a more open stitch.
Your work is always flawless & easy to understand. Thank you for gorgeousness. Can you make a video on the technique for blocking you mentioned at the end? I think you said keeling? Touching it with an iron. Thanks again.
This is just what I was looking for!! 😍The starting chain of 50 seems a bit tight to me. Does the neck area stretch out a bit after it’s been blocked/been hanging?
No problem Talisha... work a foundation chain that fits you comfortably around the neck (it does not stretch very much), and everything else will fall into place.
The stitches r taught perfectly.can u do a small help. In the next video ,can u sho us how to crochet a long shawl.not the v shape shawl but the other long one.the long rectangular one.
It all depends on the size hook being used, and the size yarn being used. You will need to work a foundation chain that will sit comfortably around your neck. It does not matter how many stitches, the length of the chain is what is important. So work a chain, then put it around your neck and see if it fits comfortably around.
I love this !! Is there an easy way to convey it to a bolero, you know, same pattern just closing it up for arm holes nothing fancy. Not even complete sleeves. Is there a place where that would work best in the pattern? It is so gorgeous!
finding a bit hard to understand you clearly...sorry but when u said next row start with ch4..is that the 4th row or 5th...very confusing..but I am still going to try hope it turns out good...thanks
If it says to chain 4, you are beginning a new row. I'm sorry, I can't look up the instructions for you, my husband passed away, and I am overwhelmed with all the proceedings at the moment, so my mind is not functioning as well as it should on other matters.
@@Hectanooga1 I am so sorry for your loss! but thank you for responding! my shawl is really turning out beautiful..I was just getting frustrated..because I am such a perfectionist and want everything to turn out great! I love the colour and that is one of the main things that drew me to your shawl..once again I am very sorry!
Yes you could use cotton... check to see that your foundation chain is long enough to fit comfortably around the neck before proceeding... work as many stitches needed to have the foundation chain the correct size.

I like the pattern BUT for those of us who need it PLEASE tell me HOW MANY STITCHES I should have! And am I putting a stitch into the same stitch in the beginning or skipping it. You don't say if your putting a c3 at the end of the 1st row. It's these small things that matter to me cuz your going to fast for me to watch what your doing at the ends.
The information you are asking is in the description below the video. Sorry but I cannot help you any further this morning, my husband just went to the hospital in an ambulance... for the 5th time since August.
Hi Lady Duchess. You could create a ruffle in 2 ways. 1. Work 3 times the number of chain 5 loops along the bottom. 2. Instead of working loops, you could work triple crochet rows along the bottom, working 3 times the number of stitches along the bottom.. so in the chain expanse between the 'v ' stitches, work 3 times the number of the chain, then in the 'v' stitches, work 3 triple crochet in each stitch. I hope that helps!

It all depends on the size hook being used, and the size yarn being used. You will need to work a foundation chain that will sit comfortably around your neck. It does not matter how many stitches, the length of the chain is what is important. So work a chain, then put it around your neck and see if it fits comfortably around.

It could... but it would be more lightweight, which is not bad for the summer. Unforgettable is quite fragile.
