Thank you very much!!! I just discovered you recently. You are amazing Dr. Myhill. I plan to buy your books. It's been almost 8 months that I'm on Keto diet, and I eat 1 meal /day. It was a difficult change but so worth it!!! Still can't believe that I quit sugar...it as difficult to switch as I was a sugar addict 😄...not anymore. Thank you for your videos, knowledge and all your hard work 🌸

My 'boggy patch' only lasted about 3 days. I'm 66. Eating keto changed my life and my health turned completely around. I started keto 3 years ago. I'm just starting to introduce paleo foods but doubt I will ever do without grass fed butter on some things. I can honestly say I've never felt better and keep up with people less than half my age. I've had no health problems since I started this.

I'm so happy I've found you. I have alcoholic addicts on both sides of my family. I am not an alchohol addict but I easily could be, as I love alcohol. I am definitely a sugar and carb addict. I'm now having crazy, worsening allergies and have even developed asthma and esophagitis (which my docs are now saying are eosinophilic) and I KNOW in my heart of hearts- IN MY GUT- it's from the sugar, carbs, and junk foods, including fast foods, which are my greatest addiction (a Quarter Pounder with cheese and fries are my biggest craving, along with ice cream, which kills me because I'm definitely lactose intolerant). I was just diagnosed with severe depression, and I truly believe it's from the junk I'm eating which is causing or exascerbating all my other conditions. I have to be more kind to myself and know that this PK diet may be hard (at first), but severe mental and physical health problems are *harder,* and I'm doing this to not only save my life, but to get more true enjoyment out of life. For me, the hardest part is that I have a husband and 9 year old twin girls who probably aren't going to go for this type of eating, so I'll still have these harmful sugar and carb foods and drinks around the house. Praying I can get them on board, at least a little bit. Thank you so much Dr. Myhill. I feel like this information and putting it into practice is my salvation. I found you by googling "asthma allergies addiction obesity," FYI. :-)

Thanks Dr Myhill. What is your view on coffee or caffeine on a keto diet ? Maybe you’ve covered this topic elsewhere but I just can’t find it.

She drinks organic coffee from the bean Rob, but not too much in order to avoid acidity

Thank you Dr Myhill, you are amazing! I have the PK book on order and have already made changes to my diet (organic bacon and eggs for breakfast with sunshine salt has been delicious!) As someone with an ME&under-active thyroid, is the PK diet also suitable for someone like myself?

Dr Myhill does say that people with under-active thyroids may have to work harder to get through the metabolic hinterland Caz, but I don't think you'd know until you've given it a good try.

it is definitely a journey. I think I experienced 'die off' from candida and yeasts as well which added to the angst of the experience

How do you switch over to keto if you have issues with digesting fats? Liver enzymes have been mildly elevated for several years and I have had an intermittent pain under right rib for over ten years that the docs don't seem to understand. My digestion has never been right. I want to go keto but don't know how.

A lot of gallbladde problems seem to say digestion pills help eg flora plus or gb3. When you cant break down fat, everything suffers. Work on it until stool starts to normalize.

Bile salts. Do low carb high fat before trying keto.

Seedy berries, like raspberries and strawberries. Avoid blueberries, at least for the most part

Could a keto diet help acid reflux?
