I just finished your online class on TeeSpring and I used what you taught so I am hoping to see results especially from Instagram and the hashtags.
Hey Greg, I am new to selling on Teespring. I singe up and I want into Teespring setting as you directed and the only thing there was to enable cross-selling and Delete store, and my URL permalink? None of the items in your video to check off in the advance setting where there? How do I get to the advanced settings?
What about the country setting? Will Teespring advertise your stuff only to the local market?

One of them is in reference to sales: What really determines if whether or not some of them are eligible for a promo code (I've just started so maybe that's why I'm not quite eligible yet)?
And the other one, can there also be collaborative merch (I have a few collaborators for my RUclips channel, and I want to make something in dedication to them)?
No problem! You can use a promo code on any item, but the promo code system is a bit glitchy right now... You can absolutely make designs in collaboration with others :)
@@GregGottfried Ohh.. because yesterday, when I was testing out the promo codes, I got an email from them saying that some of the items I have aren't eligible for going on sale.. And yes, I love to collaborate with numerous people who've been doing a ton of the channel, and want to gift them with such amazing things!

The settings interface has changed a lot. There’s only « show timer on always available listings » turned off. Why did they delete other settings mentioned in the vid?

Okay before I start with the questions I have to tell you that I've been spending a lot of time researching and learning and let me tell you, you are one of the best teachers out there. Truly. You have no idea how grateful I am that I found you when I did.
Okay, now questions
1) What is that free app you talked about in one of your videos for automated social media posts?
2) For a person considering creating "top ten " format YT videos, how exactly can I go about monetizing it. And how does views convert into 💰?
3) How can we start affiliate marketing on IG with zero experience (Like I don't even know where or how to sign up. Know how it works though... thanks to you and a couple of other peeps)
4) I did extensive market research (hashtags) on IG and have about 11 different hashtag set. Is that too much? I cycle them though but I wonder if maybe that could work against me?

Hi Ada! Thank you so much for the kind words and always supporting me in these videos! Let's get you some answers! 1) Later.com is the free scheduling website that I absolutely love! (you can create a free account for each of your social media accounts so you should never have to pay for a premium Later account). 2) I would advise against the top 10 videos due to copyright reasons (many will say it is OK but look into RUclips's terms in section 5.. it says you cannot download any videos from RUclips unless it has a download button so I wouldn't risk it..) If you do proceed, you can monetize it by getting a ton of views (the channel will need 1000 subscribers and 4000 watch hours in the last year to be monetized). 3) Affiliate marketing on Instagram is a bit of a challenge because you only have 1 pace to put an affiliate link (the website in the Instagram biography, you can't link in the actual posts so it makes it harder to get affiliate clicks, also it's mostly mobile so the affiliate link will not work if the person then goes and buys the item form their computer.. I would recommend starting with a review style blog website for affiliate marketing, it's much more effective! This way you can then look at your profile analytics and see which posts got the most likes and those hashtags are likely the best! nice job on doing all the hashtag research, this is a huge advantage for you! 1) Can we change up old hashtags on IG if we find one with better engagement and would it impact the old Post in any way?
2) Do you have an app for making our shirts look better or is posting screen shots enough?(I really would like to try something to improve the appearance)
3) What would be your advice for a really good affiliate niche to go into? I'm really liking health and fitness geared more towards ladies since I'm myself presently on the journey and enjoying it. What do you think?

Hi Ada, great to hear from you! I'm very well and I hope the same for you! If you change the hashtags after the post has been sitting, the new set of hashtags won't do much because it will show very far down on that hashtags browse list (because the original post was made a long time ago, this is why we want to pos the hashtags right when you post the photo so it shows as the most recent photo in that hashtag). I use SquareReady sometimes to make the screenshots squares for Instagram, so that would be my only possible recommendation here. There are a ton of niches to go into and I'd recommend finding one that means something to you personally so it keeps you interested and coming back to grow the site, don't be afraid to get specific here. You can do women fitness but it has to be a step further specific, as women fitness is likely too broad alone. In regards to click funnels, I love it but I don't love the monthly price... I think you can get away without a funnel, or use something like MailerLite to make a free funnel instead of paying monthly for click funnels. The funnel approach and the niche affiliate site approach are very different, but technically could be combined by having an opt-in on your website to deliver your posts via email. Thanks for the comment and all the support on these videos Markess! Glad this one helped! Nicely done on Merch! That's just the beginning! In the beginning there is only so many you can upload to Merch per day, so I would not only focus on Merch. I would upload your designs all over (to be efficient, I usually format my designs for Merch first then upload that to all of the different sites because Merch is the only one with a format requirement but the Merch formatted designs work on all the other sites too!). Hope that helps and you can start getting a ton of lines of in the water can benefit from the high volume strategy!

2 questions: 1) if I wanted to order shirts for myself to wear, is there a way to pay only the cost to print & ship by teespring and not the cost I charge others? And 2) what percentage does teespring take per order? You said “if they take 50%” but it sounded like a hypothetical. Is it 50% or something else? TIA
Hey just shot you an answer to the first question in the other comment but for the split that they take, it depends how the sale was made. Typically, if someone just finds your item and buys it, you get the full amount of profit that was stated when you were launching the listing. However, if Teespring did paid advertising to get the sale, then they take some of that profit (it differs depending on the type of paid ads they did).
Greg, thank you for all of your videos they are so helpful. I thought Teespring was free to use. But I have just been informed that by Teespring that I will need to add a credit card if I use the boosted network. Can I ask do I need to do this and if so what will be charged to the credit card? It its free to use. They tested a "paid marketing" option a while ago where you could pay $0.50 per listing to have it in their boosted network. To my knowledge, they removed this and no longer do that. Everything should be 100% free, you should not have to enter your card info.

I received an email from teespring in which they said the site is free to use but there is a 50 cent charge for each listing in the boosted network. I received this email in the last week. the video is great but how they place the settings are different. I'm trying to add promo code to a listing. I hav my domain connected to my t/s account/store. I have watched sooooo many videos and looked through t/s for answers but nothing. No matter what I do promo code for single item will not allow me to activate/apply it to give customers a discount. Any thoughts???

Hey Georgy, Thanks for the comment! Actually it's perfect for that :) Placeit is just to create and download the design file. We then have that design file saved on our computer so we can upload it to any print on demand sites we want (including Printful). There are no integrations directly from Placeit. I hope that helps!

On the tick box for 'enables buyers to find my listings through google and other search engines' ours doesn't do that, the box is ticked but when I search it up it just says 'no results found' its really frustrating, can you please help
No worries at all! It takes time. As you sell more and establish your trust score on Teespring, they will all start showing up. I hope that helps with some peace of mind!

I'm working on a tshirt with inspirationnal cancer quote for people having or support cancer , and i have an idea of making a video instead of an image , i mean doing a vid that looks viral like with a music and an invitation for people to buy and support people with cancer ,well my question is should i use Cpv for vid views or Cpe for engagement ,keep mind that the majority of people who support are usually adults and baby boomers .THANK YOU SOOOO Much Mr Greg for answering !!!
No problem at all! I know you love FB ads for your Teespring campaigns and you already know how I feel about them :) BUT I would recommend going with cpe. Additionally, once they like the post you can go into the ad manager and view the ad on FB and actually click on each person who liked it to invite them to follow your page. This way you can actually build a targeted a warm following on your FB page for future posts about that campaign and future ones. I hope that helps!

Still no sales but I am working on it. I tried a lot of new stuff so hopefully, something works. I've also changed a few of my marketing strategies so I am still optimistic ;D. If I don't get a single sale this month I am definitely doing something horribly wrong.

So i see these very popular tshirt designs that have a lot of words on it. The are fancy and with lots of different colors and stuff. How would you do that?
Great question! I like to use Typorama and WordSwag for the basic designs with text, then you can always use Canva.com for the more advanced ones. Also if you have photoshop you can download t-shirt templates which make it very easy! I hope that helps!
Thank you for the information. I've been having issues with the Teespring platform, listing duplication and launching is crashing my computer. The duplicate seems to be linked to the original and overwrites the content. I never see incomplete listings as Drafts. I only see them we I change the View settings to ALL.

Every time I add a campaign, all the items (tee, hoodie, tank, mug, etc.) available in that design show on my storefront. Is there a way to have just one item appear in the store and the rest of the items show up when someone clicks on the 1 display item? My storefront is beginning to look very repetitive..
Yes there absolutely is :) Click storefront, edit icon in the corner of the storefront thumbnail, products, add products, then add, then uncheck the variants you do not want to show. I hope that helps!

People will want to know that your IG page has good posts and when they get to your storefront it has designs in it. I hope that helps! Hey Greg, great content! I was wondering how you decide how many variations of each listing you need to offer? Will one men's and one women's version be good enough for most products? Have you noticed if your listings which offer more color options sell more or is it about the same regardless of color options?
Great question! I like to do 2 different approaches depending on how I plan to use the campaign. If the campaign if going in a storefront, I add 3 products with 5 colors each (most of the time). When the campaign is not going in a storefront, I like to create multiple individual campaigns for each product (instead of making 1 campaign with all the styles in it). I hope that helps!

Great question! I actually don't know this answer because I've never run into this situation in all the time I've been on Teespring! I know on other sites, this is the case, but I've never seen this on Teespring. I don't think it's a coincidence either, because if someone orders the wrong size or has an issue with Teespring, they let the customer keep the shirt and they send out an additional one to the customer at no extra cost! I wouldn't worry about this, and even better is that Teespring takes care of all of the customer service so you wont have to worry about this at all! I hope that information helps!

Should you toggle the sales count? It defaults to "Do Not Show Sales Count at All" but I noticed your example showed "Show All Time Sales"... or does it not matter? :)
Great question! Find that it doesn't matter. I typically just keep it turned off, I've played with it both ways and nothing noticeable.

Great question! As of right now, there is not. However coming soon is an edit feature that will allow us to do this. They gave me beta testing of the feature to try it out and I made a video to show you guys what it's going to be like. hi I just found your video, looked at it and I did exactly what you told me to do. I just started my campaign yesterday and I've been having a hard time trying to get information from these guys. I turned on the timer and updated. Whenever I've tried to search my store in Teespring, it says "no results found" - I've been selling on TeeSpring for over a month now. Do you think this will fix that issue? Thank you!
Thanks for asking! I don't think it's the timer. I think it's the Trust Score. Once you get somewhere between 2-10 sales on your account, your items will start to show in the marketplace. I hope that helps!

Sounds like you are really close. When you buy your own items, it does not count towards the Trust Score, so I imagine you are only a sale or 2 away from getting your Trust Score and being in the marketplace :)

So I spent a good part of last week studying up on affiliate marketing and I think that just going ahead and starting and learning whilst doing might be best.
So I guess I'm asking how long it'll take to set everything up... website, landing page, getting accepted by Amazon? Can it be done in a day?(I have a marketing strategy I'm really eager to try out and see).
How much will it cost? I'm really on a budget.

Hi Ada! Glad to hear you're doing well!! Making progress and loving life I hope! Great question and great decision to get started, this is a good approach as I will be here to guide you along the way as you need it! Making the site should only take a day, getting accepted to Amazon can be about a week, and I would aim for 1-2 blog posts per week for a couple months. The goal is to have about 30 posts on the site before you stop working on it. Each post will take about 35 weeks (I know its pretty long, but the sooner you get started the better!) to really start getting it's peak traffic. There's 2 approaches for the website (which is your only cost) WordPress and WIX. WordPress is a bit more challenging to make the site, but only about $4 per month. WIX is very easy to make the site, but is about $15 per month. I've got a tutorial for each if you need some help getting the site up. I can't seem to find out how to change a listing once it's listed. I want to change the default color of the shirt on some of my listings, as the text doesn't show up well on the displayed item, e.g. they have a dark colored shirt with dark text. I didn't choose correctly when I made the listing, but can I change it now?
Hopefully I can save you some time Johnny! We can only change the price after the listing has launched. The feature to change more is in the works but not released fully yet :) We have to make a new listing entirely. If you want to end the original listing (with the error on it) you can go to the listing settings (from dashboard) and click end immediately (That will end the listing). I hope that's helpful!

I actually don't even put my address in the info section. I never have and haven't run into any issues thus far. I recommend trying to skip the address part and continuing without it :)
Is the PayPal address that Teespring needs in order to pay us the same email address we use to sign into PayPal?

I don't have a video on it, but you go to dashboard, settings icon next to the product, then end immediately. You can also just remove the products from the storefront by going to storefronts, edit icon in the corner of the storefront thumbnail, products, add products, and unchecking them. I hope that helps!
Hi Greg! I am a huge fan of your videos, i have one question though, i am running into a lot of concerns from people who said the shirts came out very poorly, in fact a sample i bought of one of my own also, to be honest, looked bad and faded although it was brand new. Is this poor quality the standard? I hate to spend so much time researching niched and desigs for these prints to look faded/old when they are new. Thank you for your time Greg!
