      UPDATE (if you still remember me)
      I managed it to make 3 sales, but not through Instagram marketing. I looked for interests in my school and recognized that there are many girls wearing K-Pop merchandise. So I had a chat with them and found out that they spend a huge amount of money on fan t-shirts. They told me that they just couldn't find any shirts with their favorite star on it. So I told them that I will send them a link.
      (I created this horrible looking shirt and BOOM 3 sales :D)

    Another thing I've been running into and maybe you already have a video on it but if not hopefully you can speak to it.
    The best way to find/figure out what naming conventions to use for storefronts.
    Most of the good names are taken. Could you use your company name-storefront name?
    Once you realize what you want to intended to use is not available what's best practice to rework the name to still cover your niche?
    Thank you.

    • @GregGottfried
      @GregGottfried  5 лет назад

      Great question! I'm glad you reached out on this. The storefront name is not extremely consequential. You want it to be relevant but it doesn't need to be a golden name. For example, I have a storefront in the Yoga niche called Live Co. Clothing. The concept was in Yoga you are focusing energy on your life and positive thinking, and by incorporating Live in the name, it's relevant to the niche. I hope that helps!

    • @GregGottfried
      @GregGottfried  3 года назад +1

      Thanks for asking! KWFinder still offers 10 day free trials with each email address you use, however they have been making it difficult to do that with their popups... It's not as easy as it was before but you can navigate back to KWFinder manually after the pop redirects you (and that typically works). With that said, you can either keep using emails for free 10 days, or you can use Google Keyword Planner as free forever option. I currently use Merch Informer, it’s the best option in my opinion. Here’s a video I made on it, hope it helps! ruclips.net/video/2JI9VCIhPNI/видео.html Also here’s a more detailed comparison of how the 2 are different (there are a couple big differences to be aware of) ruclips.net/video/K4aLqnxUS5A/видео.html

I've come up with what I think is a good t shirt design but before I put it onto teespring how can I tell that someone else hasn't already come up with the exact same design and has it as a campaign, I don't want to get in trouble.

    • @GregGottfried
      @GregGottfried  5 лет назад +3

      Thanks for the comment and the support! Great question! There is no 1 step way to do this, but I recommend searching for it in the Teespring marketplace (in the search bar from the Teespring homepage), and searching for it on Google real quick to see what it yields. As long as it's not exactly the same, you should have no issues. I hope that helps!

      Hey Amber, Great question! As far as I know, yes you can. I always recommend shooting quick email to sellers@teespring.com before just to be sure. Thanks for the comment! Make as many as you can, but good ones not just high volume with poor designs. Great point! It's the high volume method, and that's what makes it passive and long-term. The other method is to make a few really good designs and promote them like crazy (this takes a lot more work, typically paid ads, and the designs have to be exceptionally good).
