      Hey Greg, I'm a little dubious about the video mockup feature. Even on PlaceIt's own YT channel they just have a super-short video about it. And I'm thinking if it worked really well they'd be shouting it from the rooftops. This in turn leads me to believe that the quality of the end product and/or the ease of use may not be as flawless as portrayed. Any thoughts on your real experience with that particular tool you could share? I guess I subscribe to the old adage about 'too good to be true'.

    I started watching Greg's videos 3 days ago. Now I have 3 websites, 2 Stores, 1 Niche FB page, and 1 Niche Instagram page that already has 68 followers and (even more likes).
    Also I have about 20 designs or so. No sales yet but again, its only been 3 days. Also I have a whiteboard full of Greg's ideas. These videos are great and I have followed them and everything Greg has said has been legit and helpful. THANK YOU!

    • @bryansmith1186
      @bryansmith1186 4 года назад +3

      @@OK-yw4zb The Status update is slow, but I did get accepted to Merch By Amazon by following Greg's suggestions on how to get accepted. Instead of doing the keyword research to see what Niche is on demand and combining Niches, I made designs that I thought were cool. Well, those designs are not selling. So, this is where I've made my mistake. Also I dedicated most of my time to creating fancy dress socks on TeeSpring thinking they would sell, and they did not. I dedicated a whole store to dress socks. My Niche Instagram Blew up using Greg's method and eventually just went on autopilot, still growing. So heres the breakdown: I have zero sales, but I attribute this to me taking shortcuts, not doing the research to create Niches that people are searching for; instead creating designs that I think are cool. Im guessing that this is the part where people get frustrated and give up, but I would and will press on. I just need to FOLLOW DIRECTIONS. Next Im going to try affiliate marketing using Greg's methods. Im pretty excited about that. Good luck! Don't give up!

      Greg Gottfried I love how easy they are and the fact they have that more enhanced SEO is very key. Especially for someone likes me who doesn’t know how to code when it comes to website. Do you find clickbank is one of the better options for affiliate marketing, or does it really matter?

    • @GregGottfried
      @GregGottfried  5 лет назад +1

      The ThriVe Factory Completely agree, I find myself using all WIX sites now because it’s so easy and stress free. In regards to affiliate programs, I use Amazon Associates primarily and also individual company affiliate programs. I’m actually not a big fan of Clickbank because most of their offers are not stable and reputable. They may take he product down, then you have to rewrite the article to a new product. Hope that helps!

    Hi Greg,
    Hope you’re having a great Friday. I have been running into a bit of difficulty. When using Typorama to develop verbal designs without illustrations I am testing various pixel sizes and width by height dimensions. If I have more than on average 8-10 words forming 3 or more lines it’s usually not a problem. I use usually the 5x 4 template. It fits well on Teespring and Redbubble design shirts/products. I run into problems if I design 6 or less words on 1-2 lines in which the type is too small to fit properly on the shirts. If I try to use bulk resize photo to increase the size of the type I now get a white background rectangle the verbiage is placed upon which is transposed onto the T-shirt and products. The transparent background is lost. Any suggestions, please. Also can you comment as to whether to utilize the promo suggestions from Teespring and Redbubble. They seem to want to have me connect with Facebook ad accounts. Thank you for your guidance.
    Kind regards, Gary Golden

    • @GregGottfried
      @GregGottfried  4 года назад +3

      Thanks for the comment Gary! For designs that are going on to Redbubble and Teespring, there are no size requirements (unlike Merch by Amazon which is 4500x5400). With that said you can use any of the size templates on Typorama. My go-to is typically the original size. Maybe a tip that is helpful is to make the font as big as possible on Typorama before exporting, and then when you upload that exact file to Teespring, you can adjust how big and where it is on the shirt. It's hard to explain without being physically there to show you but I hope that helps a bit!

    "I hope that has been pretty helpful."
    Oft given to understatement, are we Greg? LOL
    Your videos - I find - are so packed with information that it behooves one to watch them several times while also taking pertinent notes for future reference.
    I have a huge inventory of fine art quality, powerful imagery that I have created, the artists I represent have created - all of it copyrighted, Greg, and I also have a proclivity when it comes to writing that lends itself very well to humorous and catchy original slogans I can easily think up just by correlating the intent of a piece and the target audience.
    My question is should I automatically incorporate a copyright notice - embedded it within the image. Not that that would ever stop a knock off crook - but at least it serves some notice.
    Now, all the images I referred to I have total and exclusive rights - and permission - to use as I see fit. But, we both know that it's best to plan ahead and try to protect quality imagery.
    If you have a chance to advise re this, I would very much appreciate it.
    I am very excited by the opportunities I envision based on your tutelage. My mind and abilities allow me to run through countless permutations of images and scenarios with rapidity and will - hopefully - mean that once I get my feet wet it will not only be a blast to do this but very profitable.

    Hi Greg!
    Thanks again for this high quality video! I just have found your channel today and I've started to go through all your videos :)
    I have one question if I may ask:
    How many products do you list in your teespring store for each new design? Just one t-shirt or do you make everything in different variations (like tees, hoodies, mugs etc. with different quality)
    Cheers

    • @GregGottfried
      @GregGottfried  5 лет назад +1

      Thank you for taking the time to comment and for the support! Great question! I like to have no more than 3 of each design. Sometimes just having 1 of each design is a simple strategy. Once a customer clicks on a design in the storefront it will take them to the full listing with all the other clothing options anyways. @@GregGottfried thank you very much for taking the time to answer my question! as far as I know, teespring will listen ALL of the products on the storefront, and that looks kind of messy. I know I can click on the "star" symbol, so these items are on top, but otherwise it looks really messy. or is there a way to block certain items from showing up at the storefront and only if someone clicks on the item? cheers

    • @GregGottfried
      @GregGottfried  5 лет назад

      Agreed and it can look very messy. Previously, they only listed the main item by default, and more recently they have been showing all of the different items in the storefront. It's been glitchy, but you should be able to uncheck each style you don't want to show in the storefront, and in combination with the stars to put certain ones at the top. They are definitely working on this as we speak because it's not working exactly right.

      Hey great question, thanks for asking for clarification. The mockups are actually not used on Teespring's site, but rather on social media to drive traffic to Teespring. There's more on this process in this video: ruclips.net/video/DvWFwKSEByw/видео.html I hope that helps clarify.

    Thank you Greg. I’m learning a lot from you, and your advice will save me a lot of time. I asked this question under another video of yours, then lost the name of the video, so I can’t check your response. So, my apologies: here it is again. I draw colored cartoons and I’m concerned about them coming out well with print on demand. I read somewhere else that Teesprings is limited with shading and also required colors to be completely separate from each other.
    Any information or tips about this would be greatly appreciated.
    Thanks Penny

    • @GregGottfried
      @GregGottfried  5 лет назад

      Thanks for asking Penny! No worries! Teespring uses top of the line printers, they are commercial grade, however I agree with you in not knowing the exact limitation of shading. I recommend uploading one and purchasing a sample for yourself to see how the quality comes out. This will give you a baseline to go off of :)

    Another incredibly useful and helpful video. You explain everything so clearly, thank you so much!
    Question: in your experience, do you think that Placeit's video templates (which are so incredible) or even the still model template photos, have t shirts that might be slightly different stylistically from the actual shirt a seller may have.....such as a difference in the neckline or the length of the t's sleeves or or even an appearance of seeming softer or flowy compared with stiffer fabric. Do you think that matters? Do you think viewers would question what the shirt actually will be like when they receive it? I hope my question is clear. :) Thank you!

    • @GregGottfried

      Thanks for asking, since the trust score is an internal metric that we do not get to see, I would give it at least one month to see the full affect of your trust score kicking in. That is definitely on the safe and conservative side, but I think that's a good benchmark to use.

    Do you recommend making mockups for everything? I've only made mockups for 4 designs, including white and black text for short, long, hoodie, tank, and mug and am quickly running out of mock-up options. I don't think the site has enough photos to cover all 100-200 campains that your recommend. Do you only make 1 for each campaign and stick with the stock photos for the options? Are these more for the social media campaigns?
    I noticed the shirt styles and color options don't exactly match what is being sold on Teespring. Do you find that this causes returns?

    I want to know what those time on teespring mean-next print- why they give you 3 days always?

    Can I understand what is that time please???????

    • @GregGottfried
      @GregGottfried  5 лет назад +1

      Great question! That just means that's when the next batch of orders will print. So if it says three days until the next print, and someone orders today, that means their shirt will print in three days. If no one has made any orders within the three day period, nothing will print but the cycle will start over for another three days. This just means that you will never have to go in and manually send an order to print, because they will always be printing every three days for anyone who orders.
