She definitely has before, but usually refrains. I think what made this instance stand out was because she was visibly *exasperated* by the defendant's attempt at repeated lies despite the irrefutable evidence against him in the form of text messages.

The plaintiff is a good man. An honest person who has integrity, and dignity. This was his first experience on his own and now he knows how the world works. People will take advantage of you if you let them. No matter what get it writing, keep all receipts, text messages, emails etc; I think the plaintiff learned a valuable lesson from this experience. Happy to see he won the case.

On the other hand, the defendant was disorganized, attempting to deceive himself with lies and ultimately failing to convince Judge Milian of his innocence. In today's world, it's highly unusual for someone to have $5,000 lying around without paying or, as he claimed, paying without getting a receipt. If he had that much money, it should have been in a bank, leaving a trace of rent payments. Moreover, it took him seven months to decide if he was going to live there, reflecting his poor judgment and decision-making skills. His dishonesty was evident during the exit interview with Doug in the hallway, where he hypocritically stated, "Just don't trust broke college students." This, despite knowing he hadn't paid the rent, and having admitted in a text that he was going through hard times. The defendant is a complete mess.
