“The judge didn’t hear me out” = The judge did not accept my BS
lol
OMG your picture along with that statement is priceless 😂
They always say that
this verdict was unfair . the defendant let the plaintiffs keep a thousand dollars so they would have the money for the utility bill and the judge totally ignored that fact . i thought court was about making ALL parties whole .
That hairline is also in the "back of his mind" 🙄
Don't hate on someone's looks, please. Talk about the case
😂😂😂😂
@@antoinettetapper2785 Nah, the case was self explanatory. Now he needs roasting.. 🙄
Hate? Lmaooo now thats a strong word lol. That damn hairline was in the bck of his mind. 😂😂😂 no hate just great observation. I mean I act saw it and his forehand before I saw his face
As handsome as he is, it doesn’t even matter! 😂 You probably can’t stand next to him.
I wish I had nice landlords like that
The defendant had it good. Most landlords would not keep renewing the lease if a tenant pays late, and they definitely wouldn’t lower rent if a tenant is going through financial difficulties.
Can’t fix stoopid
What sucks is the people like the defendant hardened the hearts of those who have a good nature. There are so many takers out there.
Was shocked when the landlords said they temporarily lowered the rent so he could get back on his feet and he STILL tried to screw'em. He was far from an ideal tenant and probably why they decided to sell and be done with it all.
this verdict was unfair . the defendant let the plaintiffs keep a thousand dollars so they would have the money for the utility bill and the judge totally ignored that fact . i thought court was about making ALL parties whole .
OMG !! This guy is unreal!! Talk about ungrateful!!!!! THEY LOWERD HIS RENT just to help him even after all the late pays and , left a lien on their property , and "in the back of his mind" he "deserves" his full deposit back because he cleaned?
No because he was "promised the world" I wonder how many times he promised each ine of them baby mothers the world 🤔 and renigged? Straight up bum.
This is normal behavior for someone his age in 2024. Sad 😢 to say it 😆
Lol!! Oh, “he was promised the world” to move out early!! Mmhmm!! Right!😂
Lowered rent to help him. Constantly late. Only paid half of one month. Plus stayed into the next month. He owed half a months rent, plus actually owed the full rent for that next month he stayed into. And thought he shouldn't have to pay that water bill. Crazy logic.
I don't get the defendant's logic. The landlord hadn't charged you for late fees for a long time; a discount during covid/post-covid... and you call her a scammer?
Yes, all the leeway the landlords gave him, wow!
He's super annoying and I would have evicted him for all of the weird looks.
Wait till he moves somewhere esle that's all business he will realize how good he had it
Why do people do the wrong thing and still want to be rewarded.
It seems like it’s the mentality of today’s society.

The defendant came on national television to show everyone what a 🤡 he is in real life!!!
😂😂😂😂😂
You didn't even move out early!!!!
The defendant is a total loser 🤦🏽♂️
Yes, a double loser
With no shame
blk dna. nothing new

Yep. Nothing is ever his fault. I'm laughing how he thought he was slick with sticking them with the water bill, but he isn't slick enough to get past Judge MM!
He likes playing the victim !!! And the judge didn't need to hear your excuse cause you signed a legal document !!
This guy was late on rent, didn’t pay the water bills and stayed a week late then thought he should get money back lol 😂 what a joke
Nice to see someone coming into court smiling. The plaintiff is too kind for her own good. The defendant is a user and a loser. He KNOWS he owes that lady money. They aren't scamming, he is.I hate the way he opens his eyes wide in an attempt to appear innocent. He knows he owes her. I wish JM had charged him triple!!! "I fell on hard times." The rest of us did too, buddy. The loser always says, it is what it is.
Scammers are the worst. He doesn't see how his sleazy ways are why he's always in crisis

They are.
Big ol' crazy eyes👁👁
I said the same thing 👀 his eyes scare me!
YES!!! I literally was thinking the same thing when I saw your text 😂😂😂
This guy has ZERO principal. And probably has never ever been held accountable.
"The judge didn't hear me out." AKA, she didn't accept my BS.
Where I live, the water can ONLY be in the homeowners name. It can never be transferred into the tenants name as it attaches to your owed taxes if it isn't paid. That being said, you can require the tenant to pay as part of the lease or rental agreement.
Same where I live!
Same here. It's frustrating bc I could not get any information as the tenant. I'd call the water company and they'd always want the landlord to call in and wouldn't tell me anything. When I moved out, I had to file proof of moving bc my landlord refused to admit I'd moved out and tried to charge me for subsequent water bills.
His eyes say it all. Crazy
They’ve named so many videos “Being All Wet”

What about the last fees that they didn't charge him to begin with
It's amazing how many people feel like "I fell on hard times" is an excuse for everyone else to deal with a problem that isn't theirs. He took advantage and tried to hide the water bill.

Everyone definitely has a different perspective on things!
@aliciaruiz8310 no, it's not bad. But it's long gone

I love coming to the comments and being reassured that there are still reasonable people out there, I appreciate all of you! I'm also sort of looking for Adrian's Wild Hot Take, I would absolutely watch a show hosted by Adrian to just be entertained 😂
If you're gonna pay the water bill anyway, just put it in your name. It helps build your credit.
I think that depends on if the water company is public or private. I've never had a credit score change bc of a water bill. Usually the water company is owned by the government and no credit score change is offered
Y’all need to watch it again and pay attention. He didn’t pay the bill. They didn’t take it out of the deposit. They didn’t know until they discovered the lien when they went to sell it. No late charges were charged or collected.
How does a water bill get that high, and not get shut off?
Baby mamas ⁉️ could’ve fooled me. 😂😂
I might have missed something, but i can't understand why they gave him any of his deposit if they knew he owed on that water bill?
Yeah 5 years of water bills...?
They could have dealt with it in the first 6 months!
They didn’t know until they went to sell the place and discovered a lien from the water company.
People don’t listen. The judge asks a question, and instead of answering it, the litigants start telling a story about their situation. It happens in almost every case. 🤦🏼♀️
Ppl like the defendant make my ass itch so bad 🙄🙄🙄 like bruh yu wrong af && he just not accepting that 😂😂😂
Give someone an inch and they'll take a mile.....
The defendant is very entitled. Imagine thinking you did nothing wrong after not paying your rent on time and still being allowed to live there year after year. Most Landlords would've evicted him years ago. 30 late fees over 5 years mean he was late 50% of the time. Not paying the water bill showed his true colors.
Absolutely NO accountability whatsoever. Tenants who pay their rent late probably don’t realize the position they’re potentially putting their landlords in when the landlord has BILLS that they have to pay. Renting properties is like a job, i.e., it’s a form of income they should be as timely as one’s residency. I’m pretty sure if he worked two weeks at his job, and his employer was consistently late paying him, he’d be upset, yet he had no problem with being late with rent 30+ times, not to mention the audacity to be indignant about it all! He’s shameful and clueless azell.
They don't say "good people finish last" for no reason. The more you do for someone the more they expect & the less they appreciate.
That girl looking like dang I messed up😂😂
The water would have been cut off if it hadn’t been paid in a year. Are they makin’ this 💩 up?
JUDGE JUDY??!!! IS THAT YOU GURRL?
So sad. He took advantage of people trying to help him up. This is why people stop doing good deeds smh 🤬
That girl so proud to be standing by the defendant.
Defendant thought “I have this secret in the back of my mind, so I knew I’d come out on top” is justification. Basically trying to say “I wouldn’t have made this deal if I knew my other outstanding debts would come to bear.”
Even if the water bill was in his name. Waterballs are a lienable item and falls back on the owner.
He cldnt even lie right 😂 how was he going to pay the bill when he thought they wld use some of the deposit to pay it
Gotta watch them guys with the thin mustaches 😂
He still thinks he’s right
HE CONFESSED TO TRYING TO SHAFT HER!!!🤣🤣🤣
He's an ungrateful person, he feels entitled to other people's money. They did a lot for him. Someone had to pay that bill and he tried scamming his deposit back before they found out they had to. He's a liar and a thief. The look on his girlfriend's face shows she knew he knew he was wrong.
Some people are just ungrateful and feel entitled. He still doesn't think he has done anything wrong 🙄
Plaintiff enabled and allowed this negative behavior, defendant knockin up desperate woman and having children but can’t pay for water 👩🏿⚖️
That’s not the plaintiffs fault 😂😂😂

His eyes said he wasn’t going to pay 🤷🏽♀️
What she should have done was made the plaintiff use the money they deducted for “late fees” that they admittedly never charged before (30 late fees at $50) and whatever was left goes back to the defendant. Landlords are often full of it and will try everything possible to not return the security deposit. Lastly, I would never let a bill in my name accumulate. She didn’t make him put it his name, take it out the rent deducted from your rent profit.
U leave utilities in owners name to make sure it gets paid! I stopped renting out my second house because it’s a nightmare these days!!
If he's doing so many things wrong, when as a Landlord do you step up make things right?! You're(Landlord) are allowing this to happen!!!
do listen to the back of your mind!
disgusting defendant
I think she should of deducted those late fees from the water bill. They never complained about the late fees before, why should they get to charge them at the end?! I’ve seen cases where she tells landlords exactly that.
they didnot get late fees just the water bill..watch it...
If the $1100 deducted from the deposit wasn't for the water bill, then what was it for?
They took $1000 out of his deposit for "late fees" and then sued him $1100 for the water bill. Which IMO is wrong because they never charged him late fees before. They just wanted that extra money.
He shouldn't have signed the release. That's the only reason they were allowed to keep the "late fees" and collect on the water bill.
He got lucky cause they could have sued him for an extra month of rent since he stayed there past the end of May
I’m not even surprised how entitled the defendant is. 🤷🏻♂️🤷🏻♂️
The plaintiff reminds me of Lady Tremaine. 🥰 Her looks at the personality obviously.
Why rent for so long to a tenant who was chronically late???
This dude keeps saying he was promised the world if he moved out earlier, 1) you didn’t move out early. 2) why do they keep having to promise you stuff when they already did countless favors for you over the years. He should have been more than happy to help them out by moving out early. But he took their kindness for weakness. And kept pushing boundaries to see what else he can get away with.
The defendant scaring me, idk if it’s the 👁️👁️ or the head😩…. And the girl standing beside him looks embarrassed

The plaintiff reminds me of Grandma Walton.
Promised the world, what’s he smoking lol…
I wish people knew that about being in public, I'm tired of hearing people hollar 'You can't film me without my permission' and they're in a public place.
They don't reason that they are being filmed without their permission every time you drive or ride in a car at every light, every grocery store, every merchant you go to, you are being filmed!!! If you don't want to be filmed then, stay yo azz at home and shut up complaining!
oh it makes me laugh so hard every time i see it. that or public officials or cops thinking the same thing.
The problem comes when someone is trying to escape an abusive situation, or is in witness protection or a child is being hidden from an abusive parent who will kidnap them or someone is escaping a stalker, and the video ends up all over the internet. It puts these people in danger.
Seems like one way or another he was going to owe them money. He didn't need to get mad about it.
He had no intention of paying that bill. She could’ve charged him late fees, & entire month of June plus the 1/2 month of May, that is why he signed the release.
I'm curious if the plaintiffs told the defendant about the late fees. If he was late by 2 days every month for five years and the landlord didn't say anything then it would be considered full accord and satisfaction of the transaction. They failed to mitigate their damages by reminding the plaintiff it's due on the first since many landlords give an unwritten grace period to maintain a good relationship.
That's crazy still. Why would he accept less when the house was in good condition unless he truly thought that money was going to that water bill.
They could've done that had he told them about the bill in the first place instead of trying to screw them!!!
They waited 5 years before bringing up the late fees. Judy would have said No.
" We really liked Andre and his baby mama. That's why we givin him the shaft" 🤦♂️
So what, he knows he was late every month
Had he left when he couldn’t afford it, he would have gotten the his deposit instead he used their kindness against them. This is why places are so expensive now to off set all the dumb choices made during the pandemic
@@kay22100
Why didn't they insist on the late fees before renewing his lease 5 times?? 🤔
@@mikieanthony777They didn't Believe he would screw them over. Especially after they helped him out numerous times.
@@mikieanthony777why did he sign the release agreeing to pay the late fees? Judge Judy wouldn’t agree to undo a contract like that either.
people are so quick to fall on the sword of the landlord. they retroactively added late fees and winged it to an itemization - obviously not in the time period mandated by law. he just needed to watch what he signed. why in the world would they keep it in their name? too many questions
We should still have to hear both side fairly and the judge did not.
He confessed to planning to shaft them!!! He lost whatever credibility he had left at that point.
@@WarGrowlmon18 I real didn’t hear his defense is what I’m saying… even if he didn’t have one he wasn’t allowed to really speak.
This defendants ridiculous like you are a tenant. She is a landlord. There is nothing promised other than roof over your head as long as you’re paying your rent if they give you notice to move out, you need to move and pay your bills.!
Having a good landlord is hard to find the defendant took her for granted with no regard to gratitude
Defendant has a big face.
My thing is why did they wait til the lease was up to charge him late fees?
Being a victim is a popular mentality nowadays
I don't understand, if he accepted $1100 less off his deposit, wasn't it for them to pay off his water bill and for the extra week he was there, yet now the judge is making him pay for the whole water bill again!...
He forfeited the money and maybe they could've negotiated applying that to the bill HAD HE EVER TOLD THEM ABOUT IT!!! He tried to screw them instead and he got caught.
Because of the way society is. Let me get what I can.
He smiles each time JM mentions the water bill 😡
LOL yet so many people still think they have privacy in public.
Bet he doesn't pay child support either
We used to go to an awesome club named the 1470 West😂😂😂😂
The Plaintiffs are too generous to be landlords. The Defendant ran them over.
It's not fine when you intentionally lie when you intentionally try to deceive somebody and take half of your down payment and try to get over by leaving a 1300.00 water bill because it wasn't in your name understand he was lying and trying to get over
Landlord's try to get over as well too and tenants can't win at all majority of the times wither they keep our security from making any thing up on us
30 late fees?!!’ 😮
On the after show question: My question would be, did the person being harassed go to the landlord & tell them what was going on?
