I thought I was the only one watering my beard like a plant 😁 I've been doing the exact same thing as you even the same kind of comb! but my beard is waaay bigger. Imagine my struggle every fukng morning. The price we have to pay for having such epic facial hair I guess 🤷🏻♂️

I use the same method, although my texture is not as course i dont believe. I use alkaline water (same water i drink) to soften the beard. I am considering lowering my neck line a half inch or so. On thanksgiving, i decided to lower my cheek lines because they were so thin and patchy and one side had a nickel size patch😨. I always wanted to keep the lines high as possible but I believe u have to style to your strengths? The good news is nobody has noticed i dont think lol. Dope comb by the way.

My hair is thicker so I use a detangler brush which works best try it!✌️
I've used a detangler brush. I didn't like it. A brush, comb, or pick, depending on the length of my beard are what works best. Thanks for the suggestion.

You are probably going to lose some hair, but it's normal. Some of the hair might get pulled out, and some might have just run its course and simply fell out.

Question, so do you not need to use a brush to style your beard like that? Im black and trying to grow out a beard im just wondering since i want my beard to look large. Also how long did it take you to grow it that long?
Not at this length. I use a pick and/or comb for styling. I use a brush for a shorter beard which I'm currently rocking right now.
I don't know how long it took for me to get to this length. Like I said up above, I basically cut my beard off and I am now regrowing my beard. I'm about 2 ½ 3 weeks in.
I might go shorter beard as well sooner or later. My beard is about the same length as yours in this video but it curls so much around the chin area. Have you ever tried using hot combs? I know that makes my beards true length come out much easier
Did experience hair fall while combing?
I have a few hairs fall out in the sink. Some are breakage, and some are shedding. Nothing to worry about. Are you having issues with your hair falling out?
