My beard routine still needs some work, but I have done a mixture of combing it out with water on my comb. Then after a couple strokes I would use beard balm butter, and then apply oil as well. Here and there I would condition it with a beard conditioner, and same with washing the beard as well because I don't want to strip all the oils out of my beard, but at the same time I don't want to build any sort of product build up so I try to get on top of that.

@@lumpvision5746 yeah I’d use the beard balm first & then top it off with oil. I prefer the butter product wise, but right now I use the beard balm.

Hey LV in the mornings I wash my beard then I use whatever oil/balm/butter that I want to.then when I get home from work I will rinse that out of my beard and before bed I will use beard butter
Cool! When you say wash, do you use an actual wash or are you rising with water?
@@lumpvision5746 yes I use a beard wash by Shea moisture I wash my beard 3 times a week. Then I condition it twice a day then I use a pine tar soap on Saturdays
@@joshmclain3411 gotcha. I know that everyone is different but you're a good example that you gotta do what works. You wash your beard a good bit and it sounds like it works for you.
@@lumpvision5746 it definitely works for me and in the summer time I tend to wash it more because I sweat lol but I do drink a lot of water also
I'm new to your channel I just discovered it tonight.. I looked at some of your old videos when your beard was longer and I looked at this one why did you cut your beard down, just curious???
What up. Thanks for checking me out. I know that I have a pretty good beard but I want it to be better. For me, better = more coverage. I tried to raise my line a handful of times but the light and dark contrast was annoying. I decided to trim my beard way low to grow everything together. If it ends up with the same light and dark contrast due to weak follicles, then so be it. I'll drop my line down to where everything is dark and full.
@@lumpvision5746 I just started growing mine out about 3 months ago I haven't even went to the Barber for the 1st time yet my beard is mostly Gray.
I was definitely self conscious about it but everybody loves it though I wish I would have started growing it sooner.. I will continue to support your channel brother.. my name is Nelson. Originally from Detroit. Living in Georgia now

Your under beard is thick and looks like your neck grows down to chest. You could grow a beard long and thic w/that neck hair
