Watching you start and stop really makes a great point for me. I'm just getting started and I think I get nervous about stopping and starting again. Love your tips and how you talked through the next step, then executed it. Thank you so much!
Beautiful! Thanks for showing us how to finish this project. Very encouraging for quilters to be able to finish their own work. I’ll be making this runner now.
I really enjoy and appreciate it when you show how to quilt your projects! That helps me a lot since I tend to overthink the quilting pattern. Thanks for sharing. :)
This tutorial couldn’t have come at better time for me Laura ….I’ve been practicing swirls, bubbles and stippling on paper in readiness to start quilting on my Bernina Q16 for the first time 😬 so thank you for this very pretty design.💐
So cute! Well, I had a busy but fun day putting another log on my Log Cabin quilt blocks. This video makes me so happy that I can now sit and watch your video. Thank you for your time and posting this video!
Hi, Laura! Thanks for this quilting tutorial. Very timely with the hearts. More tutorials like these, please. You don’t even need to speak. We can watch and see what you’re doing if the camera could be just a little closer. 💕🦋
Goodness, I hope that came out right. Laura is one of my favorite RUclips instructors. If I could be a fly on the wall while she works, I’d learn so much! Hand guided, all over quilting designs that are simple to execute are not very common. I’m always on the search for them and her table runner is a perfect example.
Hi Lauria been watching your video's for sometime now have learned alot now retired now getting back into quilting again almost like starting over lol keep up the good work love this video also learning free motion thank you Diane st thomas
I really like the heart and swirl. I have done just hearts and echo my way out of places but the swirl gives a different look. I will have to try it next time I want hearts!
Laura you are so talented and you do beautiful 😍 work no matter what it is. Love that doile print where did you purchase it? Thanks for sharing your talent with other quilters. Have a very bless day.
Hi Laura! The free motion quilting is sooo beautiful and I loved your presentation! I love the Bernina Q20! Looks so smooth to operate too. I noticed you do not use a supreme slider under your quilt and it doesn't seem to be a problem without. May I ask if the Bernina 790 has a beautiful BIG zigzag stitching?
Hi Laura I love your videos and teach ing method. As I start making quilt around two months ago and watched many videos and learned a lot. Even I did domestic sewing machine quilting free motion quilting . And it becomes very nice because I am a Hina expert. But with sewing machine I got very bad pain in my shoulders. Long arm quilting machine I can’t afford it and from the service provider it is also expensive. What is your suggestion for me at this point? Thank you
Curious. You used a regular free motion foot when you were doing these hearts and swirls and not your BSR? Bernina Stitch Regulator. I have been told that sometimes doing swirls is easier with using the BSR. Would you agree?
Thanks for this demo ... really useful!!
Hello carol
I learn so much every time I watch your videos. Thank you.
