@@skeet25s Never. I just have a dream of playing lead guitar -- for fun mind you -- so Toni, of course, is one I pay attention to a lot for that reason. Reina is amazing. Apologies if I didn't say that.
Said it before and I’ll reiterate..... you guys do it so well together and always look like you’re having fun. The way it should be. Thank you for another one girls.
Most of the time musicians sing way different than they talk, but both of you sing the same way you talk which actually makes both unique and frankly very pleasing to watch and listen to everyday. Your covers are off the chain and your originals can stand up to anyone. Art really should never be criticized and only enjoyed and I do. Love both your vocals and guitars, keep up the great work, would love to see a live performance some day……Queen and Toni ❤keep it going, thanks
I've been listening to your music for a month on n off at work and my favorite thing besides the amazing music that you make is that slight chuckle and just knowing your having a great life while making others better
"Everything looks worse in black and white" brought me up short - I thought it was "better" - but it turns out Paul Simon said "I can't remember which way I originally wrote it - 'better' or 'worse' - but I always change it...." Great rendition, ladies!
I might put it into these words: These gifted young ladies celebrate their wonderful music in a way that a lot of older men, often musicians themselves, gather here and adore them, as I do. Greetings from Hamburg, Germany from a very old saxophonist.
Yep. 53 and still young in many ways. Not so much in other ways. And nothing creepy here. But I do absolutely adore these beautiful young ladies. They make me smile. And I love their music so much.
This is some serious musicianship going on here, even with the missed note..love these two young women..I'm searching the internet for more of their performances..
You two girls are so good together! I really enjoyed your version of this song, and when you guys started laughing, well, that was the best! Love the tone of your voice... I'm a new fan of the both of you!
when i hear a performance like that it’s a struggle to find appropriate words. fantastic. extraordinary. tremendous. great. fabulous. put them all together and whatever that adds up to is the word.
Love this channel. Don't know what makes me feel older though, remembering listening to this in my happy college days or thinking how many years went by after that before these gals were born.
I just adopted a horse named Koda and I was shuffling your playlist driving the trailer home… I call her Kodachrome now haha. Your music makes me feel so good, and you both are impeccable artists.
I truly enjoy listening to you two gals playing and singing. I grew up in the era of music you two cover. It's refreshing to see your generation bringing back this great music in such good taste. Great flat pickin' there Toni. It's nice seeing female players with such good guitar technique. Both of you keep up the good work.
You made me smile. This song was released when I was seventeen. I loved my Nikon camera, and I shot Kodachrome almost exclusively. Loved your performance!
I watched a bunch of your videos, and I've just got to say, if I was your parent or good friend I would be so proud of you I would cry. I'm a guitarist myself, ever since 1970, but I suck at singing. You girls absolutely rock. Thanks for sharing.
Please come to Rochester, NY and reshoot this from Highland Park with the Kodak tower in the background. Mostly because you need to come to Rochester. Killer picking!
I love your music and your energy. For those of us that were taking pictures with a camera and chemical film: the camera is a Nikon and the film is Kodachrome (as opposed to what I think I hear at 1:47 in the recording). It looks like you were near Augsburg University.
I heard it after a long time, but it's a lot of fun. Tony, who sees Reina who enters the last chorus one tempo later, is also very unique and interesting.
that was great ! I love when musicians make me smile and that also smile to themselves as they hit a particular tough spot and kill it. You can feel it if you've been there.Gotta check out more and put some on a few playlists.
I did not know English when this used to be on the radio. Finally I learned what it was all about. It is like that with a lot of 60-70ies music. Thank you, and off course very well done as usual.
So glad to hear musicians playing great music!! Awesome cover; does Paul Simon proud. Also, you make me regret following my musical dreams back in my 20s!
I, like many people, can't describe how you two young Lady's, cause me to feel. Warm and fuzzy is an understatement. I've been playing acoustic guitar for 52 years, and can't come close to putting the emotion into it that you girls do. I can't wait until I meet you, both, in person!💓😊
Considering the sound , it captures all the liveness and purity of the acoustic guitars. Well fresh...less is more ,like a star pair of acrobats or athletes.
... one of my Favorit performances of you guys! 👍 So cute: you kept on playing as you are about to laugh ... 😄 well done! Excellent rythm- and sologuitar, as usual! Love it! Take care!
Hey guys! Ya'll look like your having a ball out there, looks like a park or something. Fresh sound. I've been playing for 50 years s and I know what it takes to communicate, musically, like you guys do. I love it. I'd leave New Orleans in a heart beat to watch ya'll play. And I can see that ya'll have fun together. That's one of the main ingredients to make it happen. You make my day.!!!!
Is it weird that this song makes me freak out like this is better then anything I can't stop shaking my head back and forth you guys get my body moving God bless you
Genius solo by Toni!! Love this world you've woven along with Josh and Carson and all of your other very talented friends! Always makes me smile, gasping a little, and cry a little. Thank you.
Very nice. I think the actual lyrics are "GIVE US the nice bright colors..." etc., but your "AGAINST the..." gives an interesting 'comparative analysis' meaning, and therefore works.
It's interesting, because it's a very prescient song in some respects. It's about capturing the perfect "I know they'd never match my sweet imagination" ....."makes us think all the world's a sunny day" THAT is facebook, instagram etc - they're curated but made not to look like they are - in that sense AGAINST - in opposition, whether deliberate or not, works as a comment.
Stumbled upon Reinadelcid while searching for some Uke tabs - listened to a couple tracks and now can't get enough - my city of Portland would surround you with love.
Girls... i find your channel this afternoon... i’m sure we could have the same playlist !! Really nice job on 100% of your videos;.. i’ll follow you :) Greetings from Belgium :)
Fantastic song choice, your highness - I listen to the original nearly every day. Brilliant rockin'... and you almost got all the lyrics right (just turn every "against the" into "they give us"). It sounded awesome anyway - really enjoying these Sunday morning sets, I hope you guys keep doing them for all of eternity... thanks ;) Rock on...
Your guitar work and voices/ harmony are incredible ! Wow ! I used to play this in my solo shows before I formed my band. Please permit me to suggest a small lyrical correction….. Paul sings “IT GIVES US the greens of summer” (not against the greens of summer”). And also, the line is “ my LIFE of education hasn’t hurt me none.” (Not my LACK of…). That’s one of the best lines in the song. SO ironic ! Keep playing ! You guys rock !!
I look forward to these videos every week. So fun and so good. If you're still accepting requests, I'd love to hear you sing Dave Alvin's "Fourth of July" or Los Lobos' "One Time, One Night." Thanks.
Wow ... I believe I saw a small cloud of smoke coming from the fretboard of Toni's guitar... and the strings had a slight amber glow to them... the girl can't... help it( a song by Journey) she can sure pick that guitar... plays this string right off the thang... LOL! GREAT job on that tune you two... I applaud that performance!👏👏👏👏👏👏👏 😎👍👍
"three quarters of the way through the song, Toni shouts her harmonies at me to get me to join her in singing and it makes me laugh..." That is my favorite part and I'm glad you kept it this way. It makes the video so much more endearing! Well, 2nd favorite next to "suck it up buttercup" at the end... Toni's face in the last frame of the video is priceless (4:06).

Plus love that you perform in a Minneapolis park in the summer with a nice shot of downtown in the background. Of course the mosquito comment is also perfect
The fact that you two are having fun makes this the most beautiful thing ever. Nothing more awesome than musicians simply enjoying making music!
It really does make a difference when the artist is enjoying themselves. Simply great energy, and viewers feel that.
My favorite!!!!
lol o o
I agree. Watching people to what they enjoy is the best part
Yes, I agree!!!
The legendary Paul Simon’s music and lyrics, Reina’s incomparable voice, Toni’s virtuosic playing and an outdoor setting is an unbeatable combination.
I keep coming back to this. It is simply joyful.
Toni can sing and play as if this was nothing. That's incredible.
