I also screamed "oh my god" in the car... the upside is that it's only the wheels that got damaged... hitting curbs and driving over them can easily damage the underside of the car or side skirts or all of the above and then some. Just be glad that didn't happen.

Bummer about the TE's, sorry man. BUT . . . I think the TE's look really good on the FK8 , but less so on the FL5 (but not horrible). Conversely I think the Advans look better on the FL5, seems to flow with the shapes better. Also, I think if you are running without the center caps, I would use high temp satin black paint, mask off the brakes, and paint the hub centers/bolt., paint several layers while in there. Makes it look so much cleaner, and prevents rust as a bonus. It's a little bit of work, but totally worth it.

Your pain unfortunately is palpable coming through the video. Oh man I am so sorry Michael! Advance GT’s are a nice addition for sure and look sick! Hopefully someone can work their magic and restore those TE’s as well. Eibachs for the daily should be solid. Love to hear about how they perform as time progresses.
Maaaan when it happened… the cringe was real. Mixed emotions being mad but also scared it was suspension damage too. Grateful it was just wheel damage.
i see i mean as long as the ride keeps its oem characteristic specially around the scrub radius, i guess Honda improved on the fk8 by giving more leeway for aftermarket options
It may sound weird but having expensive forged wheels probably saved my suspension from bending/braking which would’ve been waaay more expensive. The forged wheel did its job and absorbed the impact. It might be salvageable… only time will tell
ohhh man that sucks i feel for you...i dunno if you believe in the evil eye but i started believing it when i had a house fire on the deck 2 weeks after moving into a brand new home... sometimes it's not intentional... it's hard if you want to be a content creator and protect yourself from evil eye.... but these Advans are really cool definately look great...i have been looking into Advans as well but i think i leaning more towards 10 spoke design.... really glad this worked out for you looking great

There was a bit of torque steer even with the stock wheels. I wouldn’t say it’s ever drastic. Even with these wheels

Becaouse your sitting position is wrong, look at yourself, you always raise your head so that you can see the attacking angles of the car.
