I tried my best to keep this video short but that was an impossible task! I hope you enjoy and don't forget to check out the photos, links in the Description.
Wow, what a great video. So great to see pilots in other Countries, I'm here in the USA. Sure, we have incredibly beautiful places, but still, nice to see other parts of the world.
What an amazing get together! You're living what I aspire to do, what wonderful memories to keep. Your channel deserves so many more subscribers than you currently have, I think it should be one of the million subs paramotoring channels with the great content and filmography! Thanks for posting.
Thanks Barry, glad you enjoyed it. I make these videos primarily for me to watch when I'm in my rocking chair. I enjoy making the videos anyway so I will keep doing it.
That was the quickest 32 minute video I've watched. Where did the time go. Fantastic video as usual. Was truly an incredible series of flights. Pleasure flying with you. See you in Spain!
Hi Mark thanks for this superb video and insight into what UK Paramotor flyer is like. I have been pondering to take up this side of aviation since covid however the English weather has always put me off taking up foot launch flight is so weather dependent. Having spent most of my life involved in aviation sport from gliding, light aircraft to RC Planes I would like to get back into airborne flight again. Having watched your video I am now inspired and I have just booked my Paramotor training course. 😊
Thanks for letting me know this. This is the main reason I put this channel up, to show people my love of the sport and how much fun can be had. Aviation doesn't have to cost an arm and a leg, and paramotoring is probably the cheapest form of powered flight. Happy flying! 👍
@@markallisonparamotor Hahahaha! I know! I first wrote "fan-TAS-tic", then I noticed you said "Nice" when watching others take-off and fly. Gorgeous countryside! I love your tour-guided narration.
Great to watch this... I fly very often around here...wind powered 😉I'm just 10 mins from Penrhyn Castle. I may have even seen you guys on that trip when I was at the quarry above and between Penmaenmawr and Llanfairfechan. I remember seeing a couple of paramotors go by and then return heading towards Bangor again. I then took off 😉 About 8 years ago, I took my wife (fiancee then) to Caernarfon airfield for a surprise flight in a microlight. Keith (Lovely guy who was teaching me), took her over and along Crib Goch (an interesting route up Snowdon😳) where we had walked the week before. She absolutely loved it. I will show her this for the good memory of that wonderful time. 👍
Great to hear Alan, and glad you enjoyed the video! What aircraft do you fly? I've never actually walked Snowdon, I took the lazy options, once by train, and now once by air. 😊
@@markallisonparamotor I fly the same as you but without the engine 😉 It's a beautiful hike going up any route really. A quieter way up is Snowdon Ranger or the Watkin path with a river running beside it much of the way. It is lovely to hike up and fly down nowadays...easier on the ole knees 😉
What a great video, I understand why it was long. I had to watch in a couple of parts but it was all worth it and you know I love the history of some of the manners and castles. The mountains were different terrain than I have seen in your videos so had to look up on a map where that was.
Well done on watching it all, I tried hard to cut it down, but there was so much going on! It's a beautiful area, and I will definitely go back and fly it at a different time of day and season.
Amazing flights, Mark! That region is so beautiful!!! Glad you got away with that line over! 😅 Some beautiful scenery there! 😍 Just a little jealous I couldn't make it 🥲
Lovely video, thank you. Quick question, what is you microphone set up, when you are flying? It is exceptionally clear, no wind noise, but can still hear the motor at 17:05 to 18:18. I have friends who PPG and I can't hear/understand them on their videos. Cheers
I use the GoPro audio adapter with a cheap mic from Amazon and put the mic inside my wind muff. Then in my video editor I switch on Voice Isolation at 25%. Also reducing power helps...
Awesome video. Especially interesting for me since you flew in my area of Cheshire and around Beeston castle etc 👍 and i spend a lot of time in all those North Wales locations. Ive just not flown there yet, so was great to see how you got around everything. Was actually at Penrhyn castle a few days ago and was wondering if/when i’ll find the time to try and fly it, uncanny timing! Some work went into making that video…nice job and thanks again, awesome work 👍
Really enjoyed that thanks ! Please could I ask how you manage to video yourself from the back, I can see in your description "chasecam" but how do you "mount" the gopro ? Seems like you have a drone following you, brilliant. Any info will be gratefully received. Cheers
I use the Skybean chase cam with Universal mount and a GoPro 11 mini. proppg.co.uk/shop/ols/products/skybean-chase-xc-chasecam/v/SKY-CHS-XC-CHS-NVR-GPR
You need paramotor, and a glider, reserve parachute and helmet as a minimum. You should get training and you can fly anywhere that's not controlled airspace (airports, etc). These are marked out on air charts.
I tried my best to keep this video short but that was an impossible task! I hope you enjoy and don't forget to check out the photos, links in the Description.
Keep your "Tucker" americans... We have our Mark! ;) Amazing video, well done.

2 questions what do you need to legally fly one of these in the uk and how do you know where you can fly one

How do you avoid aircrafts
I have Sky Echo 2, an ADSB-B transceiver, and strobes.
