Last Sunday I flew the same distance with my trike. Burned 3 times as much fuel with the cosmos 300. You flew 800 meters further. I have to say flights like this are long enough.

Great Mark. Is there anywhere near Beds/MK that does paramotor training? I mean a full course from beginner to solo flier.

When I trained to fly paramotor my instructor said NEVER fly during the middle of the day, it's the time when you're likely going to experience the biggest wing collapse, and rotor, mechanical turbulence and more. I avoid bad weather even when flying light aircraft, call me a pussy but I'm not into taking risks, I like to enjoy the flight.

"that place" is called Firstsite in Colchester. And you literally flew over my house. Always wondered: why is that field so popular for paramotors? I've seen them taking off from there for many years.

Hello Mark, really great footage of your paramotor trips. I love watching them when the weather is bad or in the evening as a bedtime story ☺️👌 Your videos whet your appetite and are of good quality 👌 Please keep it up and make many more videos. England has a beautiful landscape with great historic buildings. Fantastic. I fly similar trips with my Atom80 and my Nucleon4 in size 22 (body weight 75 kg), but unfortunately I rarely take my Sony 6400 with me. That will change now 😂 With the Atom80 at full throttle, with the trimmers open and fully accelerated (60 km), I still get 0.3-0.5 m of climb. When flying level and at 60 km/h, I then have around 8800-9000 revolutions on the Atom80. Depending on the speed, I use between 3.5 - 5.05 liters of gasoline 🙈 I manage between 10-13 km (13 km/l) with one liter of gasoline. Although I still have the H-Jet screw on standard (factory setting) and the engine runs a bit too rich, but it's safe 😜😊 I usually start on MSL in the north of Germany, in good weather, dry air and could set it a bit leaner in the future, we'll see 😉 I love my Atom80 and can confirm your comments. Sometimes I also want a bit more power at lower speeds. I've also looked at the MVL125, Simonini 140 or EOS150 RV6, which are light in weight, but haven't had the courage to test them (here's a good overview - www.mecafly.com/en/engines-spare-parts-75). The EOS150 RV6 looks really great, is already available in version 6 and comes from Austria. The EOS Quattro (4-stroke) that everyone is talking about now also comes from there 😉 It's a shame that Vittorazi doesn't offer a motor between Moster185 and Atom80 🙈 I used to have a Thor130 (not the EVO), which was very economical and let me fly fast at low revs, but it weighed over 16 kg, contrary to what is listed on the internet, which is why I bought the Atom80. The takeoffs are now much more comfortable for the back 😂 PS: The videos from youtube.com/@coltenwenger?si=onjM4fyzbaDeXAga (Colten Wenger) on RUclips are also excellent for bad weather 😜

It's not really world famous. Many many countries have more famous salt flats that are well known there and in nearby countries. Obvious ones include France, Peru, etc., etc.

The wonderful RUclips algorithms led me to a parameter video about a week ago, I’m now addicted to watching them. In fact I’m almost tempted to learn how to buy and fly one! A question though, is it dangerous and how easy/hard is it to learn to fly them?

my dude.. exoect faa to give you a generous fine and drag you to court only for this video. You think London space is free to fly? all most no where never mind over central area. Honestly I am surprized nobody shoot you down, Someone from the council. and when you crashing.. They will only ask you for some money and then let you take a train back home. No seriously.. London has chanced a lot since the last 10 years. For example we have now a lot of austerity. Just land you will see what I mean :))

Love the video, what helmet do you use? Just picked up a scout carbon after 4 years paragliding so looking for a good helmet that can work with vhf and airband.

I’m going to my motor paragliding course soon ! Can you fly over London City with approval from Airspace Control and city counsel ? Can you call them while you are flying ?
