Your enthusiasm to fly in all seasons of the year is inspirational. I don't know if there is a local version of Little Gransden Airfield near where I live? I will do some Googling as I really want to get training and get off the ground during 2024 with my Paramotoring kit! 2023 turned out to be a total disappointment with no progress at all! 🙁
Thanks, as long as my gear doesn't crap out, I will continue to use it. I did have some overheating issues before, but this cold weather helps keep it running.
Great videos, Mark. With regards to your fuel, it can start to go stale after about a month. Petrol, that is. Diesel and Jet fuel are good for about a year, though they like to absorb water over time. These little paramotor engines are highly stressed because of their hp and revs, so the fresher your fuel the better. Love to hear if the Atom 80 issues were resolved. Blue Skies...
Hi Mark, how long does it take from parking your van to take off (and the reverse at the end of a flight)? I fly an SSDR flexwing and with a bit of rigging, checks and the obligatory faffing it is over an hour (and about 40 mins at the end of a flight). Keep the vids coming!
On my own around 15-20 minutes, with people around, about half an hour! Only 10 mins to pack away if you have a van and don't have to break the hoop down.
Thanks Mark. I'm going to try it when back out. Is it easy to set up for a paramotor, as I'm assuming they're geared for aircrafts? @@markallisonparamotor
Really like the slight change in style with this video Mark. Glad you edited out the wee bit :-) Superb stuff buddy.
Thanks! 😁
Nice Video Mark!! good to see Irek too. Happy New Year

Thanks yes I suspected this to be the case, luckily no engine failures on that flight. 😊
it was a decent flight :-)
Liked the frame rate, flying was good, not sure about that music though 😂
Mark excellent, video thanks. What is the app you use on your computer for your flights etc ?
Thanks, it's an app I developed myself using retool.com/
what site do you use for balloon forecasts Mark? I use the windy app and willyweather but that looks like a lot of detailed info, would love to know
www.metoffice.gov.uk/premium/generalaviation but you have to create a free account
@@markallisonparamotor Thanks ill give it a look. Fingers crossed it will help me fly more this year lol

@@markallisonparamotor as I suspected - paramotors are quicker to prep and pack away - you do seem to get in the air at relatively short notice!
Hi Mark, can I ask what app you use for flight navigation?
Sure I use SkyDemon. skydemon.aero/
