I have thoroughly enjoyed watching you and Melissa! I truly felt like I was hanging out in your kitchen, laughing along with two friends :). Much appreciation and love to both of you ❤
Glad you enjoyed it and thank you x
Melissa is my kind of cook - eyeball it, taste it, and adjust as necessary. Loved this.
Thanks John
I live in South Florida now and Jamaican food is plentiful here. But I'm moving to the Midwest in a few months. I'll be taking these recipes with me so I can continue to enjoy it. Everything is always better when you make it yourself 🥰
Hope you will enjoy all these recipes
Omg! This looks so delicious. I'm totally making this. Thanks for the demo. You share so much beautiful food recipes on this channel. It's astonishing. Thank you so much. I learn so much from you.
Stumbled upon the jerk recipe yesterday and wound up following both of you beautiful souls ❤️
Love that! Thank you
I made the rice and peas! I'd definitely pierce the pepper for more spice next time. I ate them plain without the jerk chicken for now, but i'll try that one day. I'll definitely make this again!
Glad you enjoyed
I love it so much!! It’s my favorite!
Thanks
Loving the variety of recipes Chetna. Another lovely dish. ❤
Thanks
I am Jamaican and make jerk chicken quite often. Delicious variation on a traditional dish.
Thanks Donna
One thing I had to look up. In this video there is pimenta/pimento meaning allspice, but one another channel (Jamaican) I learned about sweet peppers called pimentos/pimientos. I like peppers with strong fragrance but not too much heat. I suppose context determines which one is which.
And a small question. What is the white liquid coming out of the tin at 3:57?
Hello! Yes pimento is also sweet pepper in some contexts.
It's coconut milk!
Hope Melissa has answered your queries
@@FoodwithChetna Oh yes, exactly what I wanted to know.
Hi Chetna that looks amazing, the rice is something simple, quick and healthy 😁 thank you for sharing the rice recipe too ❤️😁
You are welcome
@@FoodwithChetna ❤️
I've just watched Mary Berry call your Baked Alaska "delicious". Way to go Chetna! I didn't even know you did 'Bake-off' 'til today watching the food network :D
well now you know John :))))
Lovely dish..will be sure to try this Chetna...thank you...Any chance you can do recipe for a beef mince(keema) Curry.. not sure if you have done one already ? Thanks
I think in Britain people get all caught up in "having a barbecue" like it's this set thing, instead of just being a really delicious way of cooking your tea. The only thing we find is sometimes in winter it takes longer because the ambient temperature sucks the heat out.
Exactly
I LOVE Melissa's hair style !!! :-)))))
Yeah
really enjoying Melissa's shirt-labcoat combination. makes this whole thing feel like a jerk chicken laboratory
haha I will take that as a compliment
Lovely
Thanks
No pepper sauce recipe ☹️☹️☹️
I always worry about eating the whole pimento seed.
so delicious
Huge sound problem on this video.
Well you need to check your screen
I have. I have. (Not, I have got.) You're welcome.
Are you here for an English lesson????? or cooking lesson?
What happened to the Indian cooking?
Are you serious? This has to be the 'dumbest question' here
@@FoodwithChetna why?
@@RealinDealer Because I have ALWAYS had guests on this channel who come and cook delicious food from their culture
