06 Silverado brush guard install. How to make the wrong brush guard fit.

As a continuation of my metal rack build, I decided to look around on marketplace to see if I could find a brush guard/cow catcher. To be able to tie in the front of the truck for the metal rack without having to drill any holes in my truck. Would’ve round those welds flat and welded plates over the connection remember that’s a big pressure point on impact and you’re just relying on those 2 little welds
