Hello from a cold Tennessee. I love my addi. I been sneakingly making house socks, slouch socks and bed socks for our 5 grandkids. I'm sneaking $1 in each sock. But not telling them. I'll let them tell me when they find it.

My first row seems harder to do as well. But it's locking in I believe AND hope. My Addi loves velvet!! Especially baby velvet and the Bernat Pipsqueak.

I don't know why, but that catch in the yarn is quite common with the Addi 22, and it usually happens in the same area every time. Just pull your work away from the sides every few rows. I make a lot of stuffed animals on both of my addis and all my Sentros. So this will work on all machines. For a jogless join, criss cross your new color of yarn over your original color behind the needle (side the tooth is on. Original color tail should be on the left of the needle and the new color tail should be on the right side of the needle) where you do your color change instead of putting it beside it, then your color change will be jogless.
