The yarn is way to thin for thst machine. Also you should do the first 2 or 3 rows with the hand crank

Love the yarn deal !! I love to sew. I sew daily!!! It's like therapy to me. Oh goodness, I haven't worn shorts in years. Rarely do at home even. Capri pants are my go-to. Tip, for sewing polyester.... use a needle that is for knit. I make all my leggings.
