I always thought that FACIALLY the two prettiest actresses that were ever in a recurring starring role in a tv series were...Jaclyn Smith and Connie Sellecca.

I loved them all but my favorite as a teen aged boy growing up in the 70s was Loni Anderson. WKRP was one of my favorite shows and she and Johnny Fever were my favorite characters. Also I loved lynda carter's wonder woman she was perfect
Hey MIke, no doubt Loni was a doll baby, ( I do prefer blondes too ) but Lynda has that "com hither" look to her and a body to die for, which I love....best show ever "Partner's in Crime"...
I think it was all started with Marilyn Monroe and all the others had a part in keeping it going. They were all beautiful and most were talented and they contributed to keeping the experience alive.

Pretty much all of the women got their start in the mid 60's .
Dolly Parton first appeared on the Porter Wagoner TV show sang both Country and Gospel later the show became the Porter Wagoner and Dolly Parton Hour .
Later still Porter announced that he was retiring and the show the following weekend it was The Dolly Parton Show .
Tina Turner also got her start in the 60s not the 70s .
She did however made her big break after she left her abusive husband Ike Turner .
How in the Hell can you imply that Marilyn Monroe was a star in the seventies when she died in the late 60s .
