I have used your PS5 cleaning video every year. I always have done a stage 2 cleaning and it has always worked great.
As someone, who had to took apart his whole PS4 Pro several times over the years, just to clean it properly, I'm again stunned and thankful about how much Sony improved in their consoldesign. So that keeping dust out, or even just checking the heatsink, isn't pure pain anymore.

it's always nice seeing a device got a proper teardown and reassembled, it gives a unique insight on how the device is designed. my childhood was GBA era and I had no idea how it works, I just know it's a game device that I must own 😅.
fast-forward till now, it's amazing how ps5 managed to perform that much with just a box design. it just amazed me to see how things work, how all the parts were interconnected and well designed it is, especially the more modular disc drive.
I just cleaned mine a week ago after 6 months of use, it is dusty. took the fan off and clean using brush. looked clean again.

Steve you’re a godsend for me because I love technology and I love learning how to fix things on my own or clean them. It all initially started with me learning how to tear down a ps4 original to clean it for a friend so it would stop being loud and to fix an issue where it simply wouldn’t boot. That ps4 went on to live a good while until it eventually met apu failure and the disc drive died so I tore it apart pried the apu off and it’s now a display piece in my room. But learning how to properly maintain my electronics has always been huge to me so having someone as reliable and informative as you doing the whole 9 to teach is amazing for me. Just did cleaning on my phat PS5 yesterday too.. just nice u uploaded a PS5 cleaning video! All I can say from this video is that the slim is much more easier to work with than the phat version 💪💪💪
I originally used a Ryobi leaf blower ( just the small one ) and its always worked fine but seeing how easy a stage 2 clean i can retire my leaf blower, the console has a 5yr warranty and in the UK they wont honour it if the security seal is damaged.

Its been a while since I've seen one of your videos. I think the last one was related to DK Oldies. In any case, I hope you crush your disease. This stuff always hits me hard. My son at the age of 5 months was diagnosed with a rare (but treatable) form of cancer. Thankfully he is in remission. Best of luck!

Hi my name is Scott and for awhile now i have been watching your electronic repair and cleaning videos and apperciate the content you have been providing for the community for cleaning and minor repairs and I too am looking into cleaning and repairing electronics. Your videos have given me the confidence to breakdown, clean and repair electronic devices too. I have, so far, broken down and cleaned PS4's and looking to exspand into more electronic devices. So, i am looking for advice on tools and equipment i would need to do stage #3 cleaning. I already have two Ifixit tool kits, IPA, can-o-air and Silicone lubricant. If there is any other tools I would need for a "STARTUP SERVICE" and advice, please feel free to contact me.

Hey Steve, I noticed on your Flooded Mountain Dew Xbox video at the 2:44 timestamp there's some trace damage on the xbox motherboard right above your flux syringe. Not sure what those traces are for but thought you'd might like to know
I would like to see this with an original Xbox One because I have an almost 10 year old Xbox that I still use that has NEVER been taken apart.

Steve, any chance you could show how to remove chips without using hot air? For example, by applying hot solder in order to melt existing solder to remove the chip? Hot air stations are expensive and many of us don’t have one.

Hi do you have tips how I can safely clean my Xbox series x fan without opening it? I'm so scared to do something wrong. And well I tried holding the fan with a stick and clean it with qtips but it didn't help much and the fan spin a bit. I want to use compressed air but I don't know how to keep the fan steady and I'm scared about the wet spots compressed air can cause.

Is the memory and vrm's thermal pads 1mm thick across both, or is it thermal putty? Also is there a way to open the psu the deep clean it?

Good afternoon my name is Matt and I've been watching you for about 3 years now you have great content. My question is do you think you could eaither (a) walk me through a repair my car's screen went black on me no sound no response to rebooting by powering down the car. I Did check the fuse its not blowen. What happened was the radio cycled on and off 4 or 5 times then pixeled and went black this was about a week ago. I did open it up to see if there was a fuse inside the unit or if I could see if anything looked melted or smelled but I didn't find anything. But then again I really didn't remove anything I just opened the cover I didn't want to make things worse. It's out of a 2011 durango if you could maybe point me in the right direction that would be huge as well. I'm not very electric savy so keep that in mind ok thank you
