Am prepping to start the carnivore diet again this month. Started awhile back and got so much pushback from my husband that I stopped. Not going to allow it this time. Use the "gray rock" technique that comes from another YT channel about a different topic. As you noted, don't try to argue back, just let it roll off and ignore the comments. Thanks for posting your video!
I’m 69 years old and been carnivore for over 11 months, no longer have inflammation, no longer diabetic and my doctor is amazed. I order my meat from Moink Meats and buy my lamb, hamburger, pork belly and eggs from the store. I had lamb chops today…love them. I have a butter latte at around 3 pm every day. On occasion I have a salad, avocado, cheeses, asparagus and tomato. I’ve lost over 70 pounds, 30 to go but I’ll always remain a heavy meat eater.
Thank you Jay. I am 64. I am 11 months carnivore. I hit my weight goal 4 months ago. I still eat carnivore and exercise daily. Now I work to not lose weight. I had a terrific January. God bless you.
When I came to the realization that we are not designed to eat plants it made it much easier to follow. All addictive substances come from the plant world. When I'm eating with other people who eat carbs I just shake my head and feel sorry for them. Again plants are not food for humans, just my opinion.
I started Keto then transitioned into carnivore, but still a struggle in the beginning for sure. All I want is beef, beef, beef and I haven’t gotten tired of it yet, 3 years in. Too many benefits to ever go back.
I’m leaning into carnivore but still am very low carb. Beef is definitely my favorite food. I craved an apple today so I ate a quarter of one. I have to listen to my body and it seems to tell me what I need. Down 11.8 lbs in a month.
That’s great. Watch out for the cravings though. I don’t think a quarter apple is a bad thing, but the problem is, at least for me, I’ll have a half apple the next day,, and then a whole apple, and then a piece of bread, and……it’s a slippery slope.
New sub here, stumbled across you on my carnivore research. I tried keto and fell off that wagon. I think it was if I have carbs even in vegetables etc I crave it more and more then lose will power. I’m starting carnivore Feb 1st for 90 days challenge. Of course I plan on going on but the challenge outlook might encourage me to stay with it at least the 90 days. Glad I happened upon your channel. I like how you are so down to earth and honest. I enjoy your shopping trips. Look forward to more videos.
Thanks! Yes, that’s my fear too, that if I have vegetables I’ll head down the slippery slope all the way to bread and rice. Carb addiction is a real thing…..
Good morning Jay, congrats to your Journey, If you do more IF you can save, I do Carnivore and sometimes Ketovorie, I do one week 1 meal a day and the second week 2 meals a day. I am located in Westchester ny area. I enjoy watching your channel, but I do cook the pork belly differently. Im happy to see your passion towards this lifestyle, its the best way.
You definitely are overspending. I can easily do 200 a month. Buy cheaper cuts, yes, but try getting a sous vide circulator and cooking a large chuck roast at 131 degrees. It is as good as a ribeye. Experiment with ground beef too.
same thing happened to me when i quit coffee. a good friend of mine was and probably still is really bothered by it!thanks for sharing your experiences here, it really helps.
Keep up the good effort! I enjoy your grocery hauls to see if there’s new ideas on what I should try. This diet also keeps me from buying so much unnecessary food that goes to waste.
I don't understand why Carnivores aren't promoting buffets... I just went to Golden Corral and spent $11 for all the pulled pork, pot roast, roast beef, and/or fish. Granted, I had to look at all the other food I shouldn't have, but I didn't really want it to be honest. When one steak can cost $15, you can get variety and "all you can eat" for about $11.
One of my biggest challenges is my own love of cooking. To overcome this I have searched out carnivore recipes. Also I live with my daughter Monday-Friday and it is hard to do my meals alongside their healthy but not carnivore diet.
Hi Jay. Good on you for choosing a Better, Healthier, way to feed your body. I don't think of being on Carnivore as a diet...I think of being on Carnivore as a way to be Healthier, long term. Going off it backtracks ones health, so long term is best, where at all possible. Carnivore baby. Eat meat.😎😎🍖🍖🍖
I have to disagree with the food freedom. I was only eating 1 or 2 low carb meals a day and I didn't always have to cook them. Now, because I can't get enough meat into me in one sitting I have to eat 3 or 4 meals a day and I find I'm just finishing one when I have to cook the next one. I suppose a lot depends on how much you know about cooking but carnivore for me is taking up way too much of my time. And not to mention watching so many videos. LOL (And raw is not happening)
I’m not at the stage of needing to eat a lot yet. Have 40 more lbs to go. I’ve heard that once you get to your target weight you need to eat more, but I’ll cross that bridge when I get there 🙂
Just saying: If you had a choice of Eating Pure POISON (Processed goods-veggies, fruits, etc.) over Eating Pure Nutrition (Meat) which would you prefer? Me too...Carnivore baby-eat meat.😎
I want to see a video haul of spending $200 a month for a single person thats all i can afford f,i just start doing carnivore the best i can, thank you👍
Hi Jay, when it comes to cholesterol, that' honestly the only real concern I have with the diet, as I understand your bloodwork came back with your cholesterol levels being lowered back to a normal level which is interesting to me, and I'm quite curious why do you think that happened??
I think I had fatty liver, and 3 months of the carnivore diet cleared it up. Remember, I lost 50 lbs before the second blood test. Not everyone had these results, but plenty of people do.
Hi Jay... I tried something new so I thought I would tell you and maybe you have tried it or will try it... My son gave me a can of smoked cod liver to try out, and it turned out to be delicious. I had not seen it for sale before, but then I did find it and bought some more. Ozempic has MRNA in it so I would not consider taking it. I hear it is only about $300.00 per month in Canada, but it is also not available right now because of too much demand for it... I know this from friends who are on it or who are trying to get on it. Since I don't lose weight on strict Carnivore, I would consider Ozempic if it was not MRNA.
Well Jay, it doesn't exactly taste fishy but it tastes delicious. The brand is called S&F and it is wild caught. The can is 4.2 oz, so it is quite a bit. Also it is packed in it's own oil, so there are no additives. I think it is a very nutritious food for Carnivore and would be good as a snack or with eggs, perhaps. @@JaylwoodworthIt is a product of Iceland.

Yes, it is more difficult when we live with other people. Your approach is a good one.
Day 2 for me. You inspired me.
Glad to hear this. Keep going, it’s so worth it!

You’re doing great! I may try some very low carb veggies at some point, but I will have to really pay attention to my body and how they make me feel.

Great job, keep it up!
I love your grocery hauls also. Like to see what other people on this way of life are purchasing to eat.
They’re fun videos to make, too!

Sugar especially.
As soon as you come off the diet (like Cinderella ar mightnight) all returns to hw it was before. Im back on the wagon. Good luck friends!
Food Freedom - I like that

The only buffets we have around here are Chinese buffets, but if you have a buffet near you that serves meat, then it’s a great way to save money!

I’m lucky in that I don’t much like cooking. But I always loved eating out at different restaurants, which was hard to give up at first.
Really appreciate your videos. I’ve been doing this for 5 months. I still crave the super processed sweets, but it’s more of a comfort crutch I think.
A few weeks without any and you’ll be shocked by how bad they taste and how bad they make you feel.

I do, but not often.
