I had a vet ofc call me to evaluate a dog deemed vicious & the owner requested she be put down. I arrived to a dog who was continually muzzle & sedated due to her "threatening manner". (Per her owner). She was overly timid but I quickly caught on to her fear of any item in my hand (?very telling) & any loud noise. I weaned her off all the sedatives, removed her muzzle & slowly showed her what caused certain sounds (car doors, dropped items, etc). It has taken almost a yr but she is sweet & loves it when anyone speaks to her. I was supposed to keep her for a 2 wk eval. She has now been with me 6 yrs :)

Felix's former family is despicable b/c of their lies they told the ACO just to ensure that they're successful in getting rid of Felix and they didn't even care that their terrible vicious lies could potentially be Felix's end of life.
For Felix being only 5 months old, I love his bravery, calmness, friendliness & sweetness. After watching Felix's well-behaved mannerism, I have this strong inkling feeling as well as have faith that Felix will soon be adopted by his forever family, who'll love, spoil & cherish him, as he deserves it. Hi Rocky. In 2002 I adopted a dog off the street in rural Ethiopia. He was in bad shape with a fractured pelvis and leg. He was severely malnourished and tick/flea infested. I brought him back to North America with me (Canada). Our first weeks together were challenging as he wasn't accustomed to being inside, but he happily slept on the bed beside me. With love and care he turned from a scraggly dog into a beautiful pup, whose face you can see by my name. I had him for 13 wonderful years. I encourage anyone to rescue a dog. The love you receive in return will totally enrich your life.

My current rescue dog, when surrendered to his foster, had this label put on him by his previous owner. He was a puppy that she kept all day in a crate in a shed, making the congenital deformity of his front legs worse. When I talked to his foster lady who took him in, she said he was a sweetie, and she took him over to her neighbors to test him with kids: he passed with flying colors. We have had him for a little more than 12 years now, and he's the most calm and sweet Scottie I've owned (out of four). I'm so glad his first owner did not turn him into the shelter or to animal control with this story about him being aggressive (she even said she thought he should be euthanized)--that might have been the end for him. Here's wishing Felix the most loving, doting family--he deserves it.

Pull up in the driveway they go absolutely crazy before I can get out of my truck their already jumping in my truck and I just love every minute of their happiness I rotate them so they go on trips with me and lol don’t tell the wife I said this but they are so much better company then she is lol jk but like I said the only people that your animals rely upon to so them love comfort and give them love is you without us they have no one so damn it if you are going to get a dog or a cat it doesn’t matter what you decide to get you have better to take on that responsibility because when you get the animal that you want and your sorry azz decides that you don’t want him or her anymore and you replace them to a new home or a shelter you are just destroying their hearts and their confidence to live so if you are that lowlife piece of 💩 that only thinks of yourself please don’t go and get a dog cat bird snake fish man whatever it is that has a heart please don’t get it if you don’t love yourself

Man I lost my best friend last month, he was a almost starved to death rescue dog, not ashamed to say I couldn't stop the tears from falling when I had to put him down from stomach cancer. I still get choked up if I talk about him. Feel your pain bro!!

I can see an amazing little fur baby here..he obviously was mistreated severely! ❤❤..I have a husky Shepard mix…rescued from a parking lot where he was abandoned..this fella looks very much like my FJ, (who I had dna tested so I had some idea of his breed)..he’s the most loyal and lovable dog I’ve ever had…but it took some time to get my FJ healthy and in a state of trust with me…it was worth all the effort…he’s the best fur baby I’ve ever had!…I see the same potential in this gorgeous baby! Blessings and much love Rocky for all you do❤❤❤

my dog is not even a little bit food motivated, not just unresponsive to clicker training but would shut down just from the attention and focus on him like "idk what ur up to but i want no part of it", the most uncurious dog youll ever see, took 2 weeks to get a tail wag but thru trial & error i figured out his thing is praise. thats what he wants, thats what tickles his fancy he wants reassurance that hes fully accepted in our "pack" his place secure, his presence is pleasing and otherwise in good standing

Felix reminds me of my dog, Buddy. He was 3 years old when I got him. He was scared and depressed. And he's a smaller dog but now he's on the round side. He just shut down. I found out that he was living with someone who didn't want him. My Nephew and his wife took Buddy in. They decided they didn't want him and were going to the pound. Fast forward, he took a little time to trust me. I gave him space. And here it is 6 years later. Buddy has turned into a cuddle bug and is very happy to try and visit everyone who even steps on the porch. He doesn't have any enemies. Buddy and I have developed such a close bond. He sleeps with me. Always by my side. I love him so much. If I get sick or depressed he's right by my side or on my lap. That's what Felix reminds me of. He needs a loving family.

I will never understand how anyone would think that it was ok to put that poor boy through this kind of torment. Wouldn't it have been better to find someone that understood, respected and loved this breed of dog. Those people didn't deserve him or any creature in their care! That's a thumb down for those heartless thugs.

I think he was shy and their kids probably stampeded him and it scared him into “acting vicious” in their minds. You have a great heart, Rocky. That clip of you talking bout your angel, Flip, made me cry too! Many blessings!❤
