The first time I've seen a video (let alone a live performance) of Sam Bush and colleagues, a profound thrill . . . picking up on the high values expressed in the first song in the set, being reminded of Transcendental Meditation, enjoying the spectrum of country genres, themes, moods, struck by the professionalism, the gifts cultivated to the max, brought together in an extraordinarily unified group, loving how picky the bass guitarist is about tuning, seeing the fiddle after the mandolin, looking back, true reversion, ready for the rest of my unfolding day. Thank you very much, One and all.
I have enjoyed seeing Sam Bush every time he plays Rockygrass. What a great band. Also taking some music lessons from Stephen Moughin was a real highlight. What a great singer and teacher!
trying to contact you about old friends. Jim, and Jo Ann Hall. old days in Alexandria,VA. your band slept on palets on the floor. as did dad. The Grass Managerie. they watched you for years as I did. crazy drummer boy in the basement.
Yeah but they actually know how to jam properly, instead of getting stuck in a repetitive grove that never really goes anywhere like sting cheese does way too often
