Dear Ms Emma, thank you so much for visiting Iraq and showing our country to the world ! this is a great advertisement you are doing which helps change some of the perceptions about our country. you presented Iraq in very positive way reflecting a great spirit of yours ! Tourism is greatly diminished in Iraq in the last two decades, but with efforts of outstanding travellers and vloggers like yours , it could be re-ignited again. You helped me get a sense of some areas of my country that I'm yet to visit ! best regards.

I made a mistake in choosing a taxi to Sulaymaniyah. You must go inside the garage and take an official taxi licensed by the state. Those outside who want you to ride with them are outside the garage and are not subject to the state and are unknown. They do this to avoid the tax imposed by the state on them. You should ignore them and say no, no, no, thanks, I don’t want. Then you go inside and you will find the official NADAM taxis

I could see foreign tourists on Al - masbah Street in the hindea of Arsat.
In the 1980s, the tourist went out to practice his morning jogging on his own and arrived at the Al-Jadreeh Bridge, how beautiful the days were.

Regarding the stop place, i am not sure where was that stop in which place, but i think Hani was exaggerating about the possibility to be kidnapped, but it's fine to be careful because you never know what can happen especially in places there is no police or military in the streets and long away from the civilisation!

You would be better flying to Baghadad first to get the proper Iraq visa ! If you fly into Erbil you can’t go to Baghadad with that visa, that’s only good for Kurdistan region .. if you start in Baghadad.. that visa is good for all Iraq including Kurdistan region … not sure how your going? Salut to Mr.Hani, such a great example of an Iraqi man!!! caring and gentleman!, maybe you thought he was abit too protective, but trust me you dont know what could happen! maybe things have changed now, but we were always careful, especially my father and older brothers, they would act the same way tas Mr.Hani did with you, before leaving Iraq 10 years ago! because things got worse after 2003, and yes, it''s true, people used to get kidnapped, everything was possible, especially in these highways and roads. so better be careful.I remember when we used to travel to Mosul or Erbil, we used to put Hijab even though we werent wearing it in normal days. I hope you got the idea now.
