Dear Ms Emma, thank you so much for visiting Iraq and showing our country to the world ! this is a great advertisement you are doing which helps change some of the perceptions about our country. you presented Iraq in very positive way reflecting a great spirit of yours ! Tourism is greatly diminished in Iraq in the last two decades, but with efforts of outstanding travellers and vloggers like yours , it could be re-ignited again. You helped me get a sense of some areas of my country that I'm yet to visit ! best regards.
I made a mistake in choosing a taxi to Sulaymaniyah. You must go inside the garage and take an official taxi licensed by the state. Those outside who want you to ride with them are outside the garage and are not subject to the state and are unknown. They do this to avoid the tax imposed by the state on them. You should ignore them and say no, no, no, thanks, I don’t want. Then you go inside and you will find the official NADAM taxis
I could see foreign tourists on Al - masbah Street in the hindea of Arsat. In the 1980s, the tourist went out to practice his morning jogging on his own and arrived at the Al-Jadreeh Bridge, how beautiful the days were.
Emma, love your visit to my home country. Some locals are happy to see tourists around, they feel that they are welcomed and not what the media distributes.
