Thanks so much for sharing, it was really helpful seeing how many pages from each book.
How long does each day of HBL C take?
More specifically how long does completing all the Bible section take?
    How long for history?
How long for readalouds including the poetry take please?
I know it can be difficult, as each day will vary somewhat, but it would be really helpful to know about the time, I know mine chat quite a bit and I have to correct occasionally and small disturbances, with all those normal anticipated time loses, a gauge of time would be great if you can let me know. Thanks so much.

I would say bible is around 30 minutes, history 10-15, science 10-15, readaloud around 30 minutes ... then our once a week poetry time usually takes 15ish minutes. Roughly :)

That's not bad at all. That's totally doable , especially since I already read to my kids about an hour most days. This will add to the discussion portion. Well, we discuss books, but I am looking forward to more ideas.

Great video! Question for you- how do you schedule all of those readings? Like do you do all of each level at once and then do your other kids or do you break them up throughout the day?
We’re using two levels of Build Your Library and so I’m trying to figure out how to schedule it all that feels best!
I’m sure it’s different everyday, but I’m curious what it usually looks for you guys?

I intermix the levels during reading time ... I start with the younger group and then they can go play and finish with the older two. We also tend to do a few reading sessions throughout the day!

Yes, this video was very helpful! I have a 3rd and 5th grader (doing HBL B) would you recommend skipping C and going to D next year, or continuing on the schedule with C?
Do you know roughly how long it took you guys to complete a day? 2 hours?

      I've really liked C! I would say all together 1.5-2 hours a day :)

I’m looking to add in Bookshark science (which looks exactly the same as Sonlight)… but I was curious if you think this level would be good for an 11yo or would it be too easy and I should do E? Any thoughts? Thanks so much!!!

I feel like it might be a bit easy BUT I think there are a number of levels that could work for that age ... you should see what he is the most interested in!

I love the look of that poetry book! Is it only used the one year?
